» Benghazi’s Tough Questions

The story of how the Obama Administration failed to secure a US consulate and then failed to send in support while it was under attack may turn out to be the biggest scandal of this administration. But that will only happen if Benghazigate is the subject of a thorough and rigorous investigation. And that means basing stories on facts or on reliable reports, rather than on speculation and internet rumors that no one would take seriously in any other context.

The four Americans killed in Benghazi were not the first Americans to die because of a policy of appeasing Muslims. They will not be the last until the entire worldview of the decision makers is forced to change. It is important not to lose sight of that in debating just what happened in Benghazi, because this is much bigger than Benghazi.

Benghazi is one spot of blood in a stain that marks the map of the globe. Countless American soldiers and civilians have died because diplomacy was thought to be a surer way of avoiding war than an aggressive posture. And if we don’t learn the lessons of Benghazi, then we will be forced to repeat them.

» Beyond Impeachment: Obama Treasonous over Benghazi

When you ascribe an action to the protest of a video when it is actuality a planned terror attack by Ansar al-Shariah, an established offshoot of al-Qaeda (if that’s not your “enemy,” then who) — and you knew that all along, you watched it live without doing anything, and then you told those who wanted to help to “stand down”? Meanwhile, our government may have been conspiring to arm another offshoot of al-Qaeda in Syria.

How much more treasonous can you get? Benedict Arnold was a piker.

» Benghazigate: Chapter Two

What more does anyone need to know than that Americans are under attack before ordering a military response to suppress the attack and possibly rescue our people?
Even if the initial response isn’t exactly what you’d want it to be, even if you don’t have every asset available that you might in a perfect world, isn’t it your duty — whether you’re a lowly second lieutenant or the Secretary of Defense — to do everything you can as quickly as you can?
Of course it is, at least unless you’re President Obama and his minions. His two principal flunkies — Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta — had a lot of options on September 11 during the seven-hour attack on our Benghazi consulate and the CIA house about a mile away.

» Four out of five Sunday news shows fail to mention the Benghazi cover-up

When conservatives say that they prefer to watch Fox News, it’s not because Fox News is conservative. It’s because Fox News is news.
Liberals want to see a debate between Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews to see which one is more of a radical leftist. Conservatives want to see a debate between Brit Hume and Juan Williams. We want both sides, because the adversarial system is the best way of getting at the truth
It’s always important to look at the evidence when trying to decide what is the truth about something. So let’s look at the evidence of media bias …..

» The Socialist Democrats: An Election Primer

The socialist wing of the national Democratic Party is larger and probably more powerful than it has ever been.
Nowadays it is generally safe to presume that a Democratic lawmaker is a socialist unless evidence suggests otherwise.

» Tyrone and Lena

Tyrone Woods was murdered by the disciples of Ansar al-Sharia. And what does Ansar al-Sharia want? They want the likes of Lena Dunham wrapped in veils, kept education-less and book-less not to mention video-less. If Ansar al-Sharia and their various allies around the globe have their way, Lena Dunham would be treated exactly as was Malala Yousufzai, the 14-year old Pakistani girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban for the crime of urging girls to read.
And it is the Tyrone Woods of the world who are out there every single day where their lives are literally on the line doing their damndest to protect a 26-year-old Lena Dunham’s right to act like a “Girl” on HBO.
But where is Dunham politically? Oh right. She’s with the guy who knew Tyrone Woods was trapped there in Benghazi determined to rescue his colleagues from some seriously deadly war-on-women types. She’s with the guy who denied help to Tyrone Woods and his battle against Sharia-obsessed Islamic supremacists not once. Not twice. But three times. She’s with the guy who thinks al Qaeda has been defeated because he killed Osama bin Laden — yet is mystified that Tyrone Woods would come under attack in the first place.

All of the Above!

The most notable thing so far in your four years, Mr. President, is that you do shy away from responsibility of any kind. Whatever it is, it’s always someone else’s fault. You’re very big on promising “investigations” which usually linger on until everyone gets bored and new events take over the front pages, and no one is responsible and no one gets fired. (See Fast and Furious)

You take responsibility when what you did is popular. You can’t stop taking responsibility for killing bin-Laden, though that “gutsy call” took nearly a year and constant assurances that it was Osama and he was there. If you take responsibility for that, you have to take responsibility for the doctor who helped to prove that it was indeed bin-Laden and is sentenced to years in prison for his help. And you have to take responsibility for endangering the lives of members of SEAL Team Six and their families— which is real.

» AUTO BAILOUT BOMBSHELL: Fiat Says Chrysler, Jeep Production May Move to Italy

Coming hot on the heels of speculation that some Jeep production may be moved to China …. Fiat is now considering moving Chrysler and Jeep production to Italy.
Romney has rightfully criticized the Obama Administration for handing over Chrysler to the Italians and now leaving the fate of American workers in the hands of Fiat management. Fiat is not a healthy company and the auto industry is in as great a risk as ever. The insistence that all is well by those with political motivations does not mask the danger. More jobs are at risk of being lost and more taxpayer money may be lost as well

The whole auto industry bailout process was rushed through with the wrong primary motivation of protecting the politically powerful UAW’s interests. The Obama Administration never considered that giving Chrysler to Fiat was not a great idea and could eventually hurt the same UAW workers it was trying to protect. Manufacturers like Chrysler and GM are at a competitive disadvantage due to UAW obligations that were not properly addressed in the bankruptcy process.

Mandatory Volunteerism
» Former SEIU organizer: I was ‘required’ to do ‘political work’

…. the union forced him and other workers to volunteer their time for Democratic political campaigns …. he and other SEIU staff “had to do some political work. We were required as staff to do that.”

…. the union’s leaders, the organizer said on the video, “would tell us, ‘We need to go canvassing for this candidate, so we need you to sign this sheet to say that you are requesting a personal day today, so that you can go do this. We’ll make it up to you later,’” he said in the interview.

“And I [thought], ‘Is this really legal? Can you require me to volunteer for a candidate that I can’t even vote for?’”

» Connecticut Health Care Companies File Racketeering Lawsuit Against SEIU

…. alleges that the union engaged in a mafia-like criminal conspiracy to extort concessions from the companies during a contentious contract negotiation.

The issue centers on a July 2012 strike called by the union in Connecticut after talks broke down over how much union members should have to pay toward their own retirement and health care plans. After failing to reach an agreement, the companies simply put their final offer in place – prompting the union to go on strike.

…. accuses the union of tampering with patients’ medical files, removing dietary warning stickers from outside patients’ doors, switching the names of patients in an Alzheimer’s Disease care ward, and sabotaging equipment like wheelchairs, washing machines, and bed lifts.

And the typical response, the typical tactic of the left is to project.

The union responded to the suit, calling it frivolous and attacking the companies for “putting profits ahead of patients.”

The SEIU would have you believe that they were not putting profits ahead of patients when they had their members endanger the lives of patients in order to punish the health care companies for wanting union members to help pay for their own benefits.

And that only scratches the surface of the SEIU hypocrisy and treachery .

» Delay, Baby, Delay: Obama Decision Puts Up to 200k Jobs on Hold

First, it was 20,000 jobs the Obama Administration delayed by punting a decision to approve the Keystone XL pipeline, which would bring 700,000 barrels of oil per day from Canada into the United States. Multiply that number by 10 and you have the amount of jobs the President is putting on hold by delaying a mineral lease sale in Ohio’s Wayne National Forest for oil and gas drilling.
Used in over 1 million wells in the United States over more than six decades, fracking has been successfully used to retrieve over 7 billion barrels of oil and over 600 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.

So let me get this straight. If Obama isn’t handing out $535 million of taxpayer dollars to Solyndra and $1.4 billion of taxpayer dollars to BruightSource, then he’s busy blocking oil drilling in the Gulf and blocking oil drilling in Ohio and blocking the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. It’s no wonder we have a 9% unemployment rate – this man doesn’t want to create jobs. He wants to reward the people who got him elected by handing out millions and billions of taxpayer dollars to millionaires and billionaires – in effect, transferring wealth from the middle class to rich Democrat fundraisers
