» Why We Can’t Have A “Reasonable Discussion” On 2A

It’s not hard folks. We don’t need a National Firearms Act, we don’t need a Gun Control Act of 1968 and we don’t need a Brady Law. We don’t need any of the 20,000+ gun laws now on the books, none of which have stopped gun violence because the definition of a criminal is a person who ignores the law. We can (and should) keep laws that enhance punishment for a crime committed with a firearm, and perhaps even strengthen those laws as they punish conduct, not possession of a device.

I remind everyone that with some 300,000,000 guns in America and about 11,000 homicides a year 0.004% of them are used in a murder annually. In other words 99.996% of the firearms owned are not used to murder someone in a given year.

None of the firearm laws will ever be effective and all of them are direct violations of your rights no matter what a liberal, conservative, cop, mayor, governor, or a man or woman in a black robe says.

They are violations of your rights because The Constitution does not grant rights — it is incapable of doing so because Government never had any rights to begin with and thus cannot delegate what it never possessed.

There is only one solution to violent people, whether their violence manifests due to malevolence or insanity, and that is to isolate them from society until they either rehabilitate, are no longer insane, or die. That too is a fact and no amount of arguing over this can change reality. Gun prohibition has never and will never stop someone from committing a violent felony because the problem isn’t a device, it’s the criminal mind.

» The Obama Mafia Gets the Private Sector to do its Anti-Gun Dirty Work

The world’s largest industrial company, General Electric, received a very-generous deal in 2009 when the company received $139 billion in taxpayer money under provisions created to keep banks afloat. Though GE Capital is not classified as a bank, the company was able to secure the money because it owned two small Utah banking institutions.

In short, thanks to the loophole, GE was able to secure $139 billion while not, technically, being a bank. Further, GE was able to avoid the restrictions and stipulations given to banks.

Now, with money in hand, GE Capital is cutting off funding to gun shops as the Obama Administration continues its dying efforts to curtail Second Amendment protections.

32 million Anti-NRA gun bigots swamped D.C. in protest
Approximately 24 of them were there physically. The other 31,999,976 were there in spirit, though.

Stop the NRA Protest in DC Is a Bust!

Too bad Public Campaign, Occupy the NRA, CREDO, Every Child Matters, Moveon, United For Change, USA, New Yorkers Against Gun Violence, The Other 98%, and We Act Radio — participating and sponsoring organizations — failed to round up more than a smattering of protesters!

So, where did I get the 32 million number? I made it up – the same way the lefties do it.

By the time officers arrived the suspect had been subdued by employees and shoppers. Police had high praise for gun carrying man who ended the hysteria. Lt. Brian Purvis said, “This was a volatile situation that could have gotten worse. We can only assume from what we saw it could have gotten worse. He was definitely in the right place at the right time.”

Dozens of other shoppers, who too could have become victims, are also thankful for the gun carrying man. And many, like Danylle Julian, are still in shock from the experience. “Scary actually. Really scary. Five minutes before I walk out to my car. It could have been me.”

Left unsaid: If the guy in the right place at the right time had not been armed, he would have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

» What Will Happen When The Government Collapses?

….. seven reasons why we are in fact worse off today than we were leading up to the crash in 1929.
1- In 1929, America had by no means the social problems we face today.
2- In 1929, the federal government had very little debt. Today, we have a staggering $16.5 trillion in debt.
3- In 1929, most state governments weren’t facing insolvency. Today, they are flat-out broke. We have $4 trillion in unfunded pension liabilities at the state level, thanks to decades of union control of local government. There were no public employee unions in 1929.
4- In 1929, we didn’t have Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, much less Obamacare. Our obligation to these entitlement programs will consume our entire federal budget in a few years.
5- In 1929, the costs associated with illegal aliens were non-existent. Today, in California alone, it costs $10.5 billion to pay for the incarceration, health care, and welfare costs of illegal aliens.
6- In 1929, today’s massive government dependency culture was unheard of. Today, we have food stamps and dozens of other housing and welfare programs. Indeed, over 100 million Americans are now dependent on the Federal government for something.
7- Taxes were significantly lower in 1929 than today, even as a percent of family income. Most businesses paid no taxes in 1929; and today, we have the highest corporate tax rate in the world. Sales and FICA taxes didn’t exist. Today’s combined total of income, sales, local, state, gas, and property taxes amount to the highest burden in our history.

» Islam’s World War Came to Boston

Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were strangers. Tamerlan had an American wife and Dzhokhar had plenty of American friends but they chose to treat a city and a nation that had taken them in as targets in a terrorist war. As infidels who deserved nothing more than to be lied to and killed.

The Tsarnaevs weren’t insane. Nor were they nihilists looking to go out with a bang just for the kicks. Their social media accounts reveal the world of two men who had strong beliefs and commitments. These beliefs and commitments however were not to this country. They were to the Islamic Ummah.

» U.S. Opens Spigot After Farmers Claim Discrimination

From the start, the claims process prompted allegations of widespread fraud and criticism that its very design encouraged people to lie: because relatively few records remained to verify accusations, claimants were not required to present documentary evidence that they had been unfairly treated or had even tried to farm. Agriculture Department reviewers found reams of suspicious claims, from nursery-school-age children and pockets of urban dwellers, sometimes in the same handwriting with nearly identical accounts of discrimination.
“It was the craziest thing I have ever seen,” one former high-ranking department official said. “We had applications for kids who were 4 or 5 years old. We had cases where every single member of the family applied.” The official added, “You couldn’t have designed it worse if you had tried.”
In 16 ZIP codes in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and North Carolina, the number of successful claimants exceeded the total number of farms operated by people of any race in 1997, the year the lawsuit was filed. Those applicants received nearly $100 million.

In Maple Hill, a struggling town in southeastern North Carolina, the number of people paid was nearly four times the total number of farms.

Public criticism came primarily from conservative news outlets like and from Congressional conservatives like Representative Steve King, Republican of Iowa, who described the program as rife with fraud. Few Republicans or Democrats supported him. Asked why, Mr. King said, “Never underestimate the fear of being called a racist.”

Found in the comments:

I’ve been reporting on the Pigford scandal for close to two and a half years and I want to give kudos to the New York Times and Ms. LaFraniere and her team for this detailed and deeply researched piece.

The real criminals here are not the people who succumbed to the temptation of easy money and fraudulently collected $50,000 checks but the politicians and lawyers who set up an intentional opaque, undetectable fraud machine.

I spent three months traveling through the south and interviewing legitimate black farmers while reporting this for and the Huffington Post. These hard-working farmers who saw their discrimination cases scuttled by the legal class are the victims here, along with the American taxpayer.

As good as this article is, there’s much more to the story including a grisly murder that was caused by the fraud in Mississippi. People have been afraid to talk about the story. I hope that changes because of this article.

» Syria May Have Used Chemical Weapons and It Doesn’t Matter

Obama’s “Red Line” in Syria never amounted to anything and still doesn’t. The term may sound like a hard and fast line in the sand, but the definition of what the red line is has moved around so many times that it barely has any meaning.
It’s possible that Assad is testing Obama’s red line with small steps. It’s also possible that central command is breaking down in Syria and different parts of the military are protecting areas that they have family connections to by any means necessary. And it’s also possible that it never happened.

» ATTORNEY GENERAL ERIC HOLDER: All 7 Billion Humans on Earth Have a Civil Right to U.S. Citizenship

Consider the import of an Attorney General refusing to enforce our nation’s most important laws: those underpinning equal protection, national sovereignty and national security. We have a government that intentionally ignores its own laws in pursuit of centralizing more power. There’s an adjective for governments like this: tyrannical.

Had we statesmen or real leaders running the House of Representatives — not clownish, cowardly buffoons like John Boehner and Eric Cantor — Eric Holder would have been impeached long ago.

» Sequester fraud in one picture

A picture is worth a thousand words. The FAA made news this weekend as hundreds of flights were delayed due to cuts in air traffic controller hours, supposedly as a result of the Sequester. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood claimed that “We looked everywhere possible to avoid the kind of furloughs that are now taking place.”

They are simply lying. There is no other way to describe it.

» Bad news: The Federal Helium Program is not a parody

A program that doesn’t now, and probably never, accomplished its initial goal? Check. An expenditure that should have been deemed unnecessary circa 1930 but has nonetheless stuck around beyond the lifespan of most of the Greatest Generation? Check. A function that never had any business being under the purview of the federal government instead of the private sector? Check. A program that has risen, zombie-style from its grave every time someone tries to kill it? Check. A service that crowded out private sector replacements with below-market rates subsidized by taxpayers and then justified its continued existence by complaining the private sector had not jumped to replace it at a loss? Check.

A Congressman of these United States actually thinks we cannot possibly inflate balloons or make funny voices without the federal government, even though it is demonstrably bad at owning and operating the current reserves and the country has other helium sources. Call me crazy, but if the federal government exited the helium market tomorrow, I have a feeling the forces that have brought us Google Glass, the decadence of the baby wipe warmer, and the ability to stream “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” literally any season of the year could figure out how to get this country’s Sponge Bob balloons flying high once again in a beautiful mylar pageant of Kroger-bought approbation.
