Everything Michele Bachmann says makes sense.
We need a true conservative in office if we are to begin unwinding the catastrophic damage to the Constitution that the last 80 years of Democrat-Statist policies have wrought.
“I intend to bring back true change, true hope, by repealing the tax code and dramatically cutting spending and I’m going to start with the Environmental Protection Agency,” …. I intend to turn out the lights and lock the doors.”
Good start. After destroying the EPA then how about putting ATF employees in the unemployment line too. It may seem harsh, but it would ultimately be better than some of the other possible eventualities.
For example:
“sending armed agents into the factories of Gibson Guitar in Nashville and Memphis to seize what it believes to be illegal wood.”
I didn’t put much emphasis on that story then; it was just so … out there. But now there’s more to the story and it’s not so … out there anymore:
» CEO of Gibson Guitar a Republican donor; Democrat competitor uses same wood
I know what you’re thinking … “No way! The federal government can’t possibly be so perverted, petty and flat-out evil …”.
Oh, ho, ho. Boy, are you naive. Remember the Chrysler dealerships that were closed by franchise revocation in May ’09? … after the bailout (buyout/nationalization) of the bankrupt motor companies? Remember that it was discovered that of around 800 dealerships that were closed, just about all of them were contributors to the Republican party. And not only that, not only were dealerships owned by Dhimmicrats left in business – some of the franchises that were taken from the Republican owners were GIVEN to Dhimmicrat owners.
Dealergate: 40 Democrat-friendly Dealerships Become 42 After The Dust Settles; Their Competition Gutted As Well
So, while this newest scandal revolving around wood used to make guitars is yet to be fully developed, it shouldn’t be a stretch at all to assume or suspect some crony capitalism going on between this corrupt administration and it’s leftist, radical corporate supporters.
Like almost all of the actions of the Holder Justice Department, the raid was likely motivated by political considerations.
….
This federal government — a behemoth now operated by the most partisan political hacks in my lifetime — is completely out of control.2012 can’t come soon enough.
Boot of Big Government Comes Down on Gibson Guitar
Gibson Guitar CEO: “Obama Justice Department Wants Us to Just Shut Our Doors & Go Away”
~~ thanks to Doug Ross for all the above info.
Jerusalem Post columnist Larry Derfner wrote on his blog that, “the Palestinians have the right to use terrorism against us.” Of the terrorists who killed eight Israelis last week, “however vile their ideology was, they were justified to attack.”
Larry Derfner is honest, if equally vile, he doesn’t bother justifying the genocidal Islamism of the post-PLO order, instead he settles for justifying the murders without regard to ideology. It doesn’t matter what you believe anymore, or what you’re fighting for, the left now extends the right to kill Jews without any belief test. You can be on the left, you can even be on the right, you can have beliefs identical to those of the Nazis, but with an Islamic veneer. It’s all good.
Derfner dresses up his murderous permissiveness in talk of resistance, but if the fathers of one of the children killed by Fatah terrorist attacks were to kick Abbas in the shin, he would be the first to call for his head. It’s resistance when you kill Jews. It’s occupation when Jews fight back.
» Obama Administration Allowing Mexican Police To Operate On US Soil; Wants To Apply Lessons Of Afghanistan To Mexico
“Mexican commandos have discreetly traveled to the United States, assembled at designated areasand dispatched helicopter missions back across the border aimed at suspected drug traffickers,” reports the New York Times. This is all part of what the Obama Administration is calling “boomerang operations” which are designed to get at Mexican drug traffickers through the back door. ”The cartels don’t expect Mexican police coming from the U.S.,” one senior military official told the Times.
By Jan. 2013 will I have any teeth left? I’ve just about ground them to the nub already.
“don’t expect Mexican police coming from the U.S.” Geez! What stupid logic. Stupid strategy. What the cartels don’t expect is U.S. law enforcement coming at them – from any direction at all.
Seriously, it’s to the point that if I heard that foreign entities had nuked D.C., I might consider going shopping for a Hallmark Thank you card.
» Condemning the racist and anti-Semitic views of the Reverend Al Sharpton
Eh? There was a congressional resolution in condemnation of Al Sharpton?
Whereas the Congress strongly rejects the racist and incendiary actions of the Reverend Al Sharpton;
Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton has referred to members of the Jewish faith as “bloodsucking [J]ews”, and “Jew bastards”;
Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton has referred to members of the Jewish faith as “white interlopers” and “diamond merchants”;
Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton was found guilty of defamation by a jury in a New York court arising from the false accusation that former Assistant District Attorney Steven Pagones, who is white, raped and assaulted a fifteen year-old black girl;2 HCON 270 IH
Whereas, to this day, the Reverend Al Sharpton has refused to accept responsibility and expresses no regret for defaming Mr. Pagones;
Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton’s vicious verbal anti-Semitic attacks directed at members of the Jewish faith, and in particular, a Jewish landlord, arising from a simple landlord-tenant dispute with a black tenant, incited widespread violence, riots, and the murder of five innocent people;
Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton’s fierce demagoguery incited violence, riots, and murder in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, New York, following the accidental death of a black pedestrian child hit by the motorcade of Orthodox Rabbi Menachem Schneerson;
Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton led a protest in the Crown Heights neighborhood and marched next to a protester with a sign that read, “The White Man is the Devil”;
Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton has insulted members of the Jewish faith by challenging Jews to violence and stating to Jews to “pin down” their yarmulkes; and
Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton has practiced the politics of racial division and made inflammatory rem
Dang. That’s a slew of whereas’s’es ..s.
After reading that list of accusations, someone could almost come to the conclusion that Al Sharpton is a racist. And we know that can’t be possible because we’ve been told repeatedly for the last 3 years that we are the racists due to our opposition to a communist in the white house. We have been told that by all those people that voted for Obama because he’s black.

My definition of the difference between preparation and paranoia is the degree of disruption of your life in comparison to the likelihood of the threat.
Case in point: Seat belts. People with a million miles of experience that have never needed a seat belt still wear them every time they get in the car because they only take one second to put on. Why not have the protection if the inconvenience is only two seconds per trip?
Conversely, if you were to don a helmet, firesuit, and Nomex gloves EVERY time you drove somewhere, and you drove the same places I do, I would call that paranoid. If you drive in Formula One races, I’d call it the only sensible thing to do.
If you feel that concealed carry is too much trouble, as do I, then consider the alternatives: Dont carry, or open carry.
Personally, the ‘dont carry’ option is not an alternative; it’s a capitulation and a shirk of responsibility. By that I mean self defense is not only a right, it’s a duty, a responsibility. Expecting someone else to be responsible for your protection is no different than expecting someone else to be responsible for feeding you or paying you bills. If you’re not capable or willing to defend yourself then you’re a burden on civilization. Period. It’s just that simple in my world.
The constant arguments between the conceal and open carry advocates is ridiculous. How you carry your weapon should not be relevant, but it certainly has been. A lot of the controversy has to do with the “terror of the public” thing … open carrying a gun can be considered armed to the terror of the public.
Why is that? It’s because ours and previous generations of Americans have been absolutely derelict in exercising our rights and responsibilities. Too many generations of Americans have grown up without ever having seen a gun on someone’s hip – and when they do, they make stupid assumptions and become terrorized.
Concealed carry only reinforces and propagates those stupid assumptions, it’s a capitulation to the anti-gun agenda and subjection to tyrannical government – we’ll keep em covered up if you’ll just give us permission to carry them.
Wake up … you don’t need permission for activities that are rights. You don’t need a government permit to breath the air do you?
You already have a permit. The second amendment of our constitution recognizes and protects that permit.
