From a comment:

Bravo…for another great truth being told…about the Liar N’ Chief…they HAVE to serve under. But not for long brave men/women…not for long! Your family and friends back home here in America…are fighting bravely and also standing up against the enemy within…and we are going to remove him in November…guaranteed!

» Media’s One-Sided Coverage Is Clear Evidence Of Bias

The date was June 15, 1992. In an elementary school in Trenton, New Jersey, reading off a flash card that had been prepared by the teacher, the special guest counseled the child writing potato on the blackboard, “You’re close, but you left a little something off. The ‘e’ on the end.”

The media reacted swiftly and relentlessly.

The story was on all the front pages and was carried by all the major networks.

To the mainstream media, it was the moment that Dan Quayle confirmed “what a waste it is to lose one’s mind.”

It didn’t matter that the flash card given to the vice president was prepared by a teacher and was itself misspelled. It was carried on every news wire, every news program and in every late night TV monologue.

» Networks Ignore Ethanol Mandates in Most Coverage of Historic Drought

The drought has been a big news story for the network morning and evening show in the past six months, earning 55 stories about facets of the drought including struggling farmers, predictions of increased food prices and coverage of wildfires
…. of those 55 stories on ABC, CBS and NBC, ethanol from corn was rarely mentioned
The government requires that 13.2 billion gallons of corn ethanol be produced in 2012

“Under a free market system, the pain of the drought would be spread around—corn growers, livestock farmers, fuel producers would earn a little less than usual, and the consumers of corn, meat, and gasoline would pay a little more … A government mandate, by contrast, fixes quantities and forces prices to rise rapidly when nature reduces the supply. In this case, livestock farmers and corn consumers—including the poor in America and abroad—bear the brunt of the inflexible ethanol mandate.”

Occupy, their Internet hacker arm Anonymous, and their supporters have employed violence and intimidation in attempts to silence those who oppose them from the very beginning.
For those who have seen “Occupy Unmasked,” these tactics should come as no surprise. Director Bannon puts the radical movement under a microscope, and determines that in its core, Occupy is brutally violent–it’s built to destroy, not to create.

» The Cheesemaker Occupation Must End

knives are a vital part of Palestinian culture. A good throat slitting knife may be handed down through the generations.

When I visited Gaza in July, I met a brave fighter who showed me a knife which his grandfather used to slit the throat of a Jew in Hebron in 1933, and his father used in a raid on a farmhouse in 1962 and which he hopes to use one day as well. There is both romance and practical necessity in this. The criminal Israeli siege of Gaza allows through food and clothing, but not knives. Many Gazans must make do with a single knife for the entire family. Only one of them is able to use the knife at a time. If the grandmother of a large family wants to slice bread while her grandson breaks into a settlement to slit a baby’s throat– she has no choice but to starve. That is the real tragedy here.

» The War on Children

The “war” on women boils down to Sandra Fluke, a 30-year-old schoolgirl, demanding Georgetown Law should pay for its students’ contraceptives — notwithstanding that the entire cost of that four-year contraceptive bill works out to less than the first week’s paycheck of a Georgetown Law graduate’s first job (average starting salary: $160 grand per year). War is hell.

» Liberals Indoctrinate Children To Control Society

One of the principal strategies of the left for the past 40 years has been to control the learning process in America’s public schools. Controlling the content of public education at all levels is how the left is actively transforming Americans into a flock of naive ill-informed, easily-led sheep….
A major component of the dumbing down process is to revise history to suit their goals. Historical revisionism is how liberals revise America’s past to suit their agenda.

…. the president will simply make up history that never happened or distort what did happen until it appears to support his agenda. When he speaks to his audience he refers to historical circumstances as if they are indisputable facts, and they are if no one questions them. President Obama’s most infamous act of historical revisionism came when he claimed that not only is America not a Christian nation, it is one of the world’s largest Muslim nations. To make such an absurd statement, Barack Obama had to ignore more than 200 years of historical evidence, evidence that is readily available and clearly contradicts him.
…. Check what is being taught in your local school. Know who your child’s teacher is and what their teaching philosophy is. If you sense that there is something amiss, confront them and voice a public challenge so that you draw the community’s attention to it. It is true that there is strength in numbers. The more people you can enlist in your efforts to make things right the more chance you have of getting it done. Liberals will tell you they have the right to do this and that with your children. Make them prove it and don’t allow them to say anything is fact without proving it.

There is an agenda behind these methods that is not good for America. The Liberal Progressive Socialist agenda is a disease that if left unchecked can infect the entire host and bring about the demise of the American Experiment.

If the facts presented in the article do not motivate you to consider action against the liberal take over of public schools, then at least consider this:
The little commies being created by liberal school indoctrination right now will be the adults in charge when you are too old and feeble to fight.

And if you doubt the truths of the article, consider plank #17 and #31 of the Goals of the American Communist Party as entered into Congressional Record in January 1963.

#17 Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

#31 Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

The hits just keep on coming for GM, what with advertisements so misleading they’ve been banned, lawsuits for channel-stuffing, 500,000 recalls for, uhm, vehicles that catch fire, the fact that it still owes taxpayers more than $35 billion, its thousands of excess workers around the world, its need for a bigger credit line to pay off pension obligations, rapid-fire management turnover or a hemorrhaging stock price.

» What do you think of of the Obama Administration threatening the Gallup Organization for essentially issuing a veiled warning about the tinkering of the unemployment numbers?

Gallup’s unemployment data stands to potentially refute any attempt the Obama gang makes to portray an improving economy approaching the election. Continuing abysmal jobless numbers, if accurately reported to voters, should all but doom Obama’s chances in November. If the Obama administration jobless claims do not jibe with the numbers reported by Gallup, even the Obama propaganda machine, the legacy media, might start to take note.

It could be yet another coincidence that, a few days after Gallup’s comments about Obama administration unemployment data, the Department of Justice announced that it had joined in a complaint that had been filed three years

The timing, however, would indicate anything but.

» Obama Remembers Neil Armstrong with a Big Picture of… Himself

You know what I didn’t think to do? I didn’t think to post a picture of myself to remember Neil Armstrong. Never got into my mind that this was a good way to remember his greatness.

But then, I’m not president mompants
I wonder if he had some pimply-faced staffer in his twenties write this for him. Did he go out and take a special picture, or just use a stock photo? Maybe that’s not even him and they photoshopped some dumbo ears onto a picture of some other guy…

Did you know that President Obama is responsible for the loss of more U.S. jobs than any other person? Did you know that Sen. John F. Kerry and his wife are three to four times as rich as Mitt and Ann Romney, according to the New York Times, yet paid a lower tax rate than the Romneys in 2003, the year before Mr. Kerry ran for president?

Old Guy And A Bucket Of Shrimp
This came via an eMail forward from friend J Strider.

It happened every Friday evening, almost without fail, when the sun resembled a giant orange and was starting to dip into the blue ocean.

Old Ed came strolling along the beach to his favorite pier.. Clutched in his bony hand was a bucket of shrimp. Ed walks out to the end of the pier, where it seems he almost has the world to himself. The glow of the sun is a golden bronze now.

Everybody’s gone, except for a few joggers on the beach. Standing out on the end of the pier, Ed is alone with his thoughts…and his bucket of shrimp.

Before long, however, he is no longer alone. Up in the sky a thousand white dots come screeching and squawking, winging their way toward that lanky frame standing there on the end of the pier.

Before long, dozens of seagulls have enveloped him, their wings fluttering and flapping wildly. Ed stands there tossing shrimp to the hungry birds. As he does, if you listen closely, you can hear him say with a smile, ‘Thank you. Thank you.’

In a few short minutes the bucket is empty. But Ed doesn’t leave.

He stands there lost in thought, as though transported to another time and place.

When he finally turns around and begins to walk back toward the beach, a few of the birds hop along the pier with him until he gets to the stairs, and then they, too, fly away. And old Ed quietly makes his way down to the end of the beach and on home.

If you were sitting there on the pier with your fishing line in the water, Ed might seem like ‘a funny old duck,’ as my dad used to say. Or, ‘a guy who’s a sandwich shy of a picnic,’ as my kids might say. To onlookers, he’s just another old codger, lost in his own weird world, feeding the seagulls with a bucket full of shrimp.

To the onlooker, rituals can look either very strange or very empty. They can seem altogether unimportant …. maybe even a lot of nonsense.

Old folks often do strange things,
at least in the eyes of Boomers and Busters.

Most of them would probably write Old Ed off, down there in Florida . That’s too bad. They’d do well to know him better.

His full name: Eddie Rickenbacker. He was a famous hero back in World War II. On one of his flying missions across the Pacific, he and his seven-member crew went down. Miraculously, all of the men survived, crawled out of their plane, and climbed into a life raft.

Captain Rickenbacker and his crew floated for days on the rough waters of the Pacific. They fought the sun. They fought sharks. Most of all, they fought hunger. By the eighth day their rations ran out. No food. No water. They were hundreds of miles from land and no one knew where they were.

They needed a miracle. That afternoon they had a simple devotional service and prayed for a miracle. They tried to nap. Eddie leaned back and pulled his military cap over his nose. Time dragged. All he could hear was the slap of the waves against the raft..

Suddenly, Eddie felt something land on the top of his cap.
It was a seagull!

Old Ed would later describe how he sat perfectly still, planning his next move. With a flash of his hand and a squawk from the gull, he managed to grab it and wring its neck.. He tore the feathers off, and he and his starving crew made a meal – a very slight meal for eight men – of it. Then they used the intestines for bait.. With it, they caught fish, which gave them food and more bait……..and the cycle continued. With that simple survival technique, they were able to endure the rigors of the sea until they were found and rescued (after 24 days at sea…).

Eddie Rickenbacker lived many years beyond that ordeal, but he never forgot the sacrifice of that first life-saving seagull… And he never stopped saying, ‘Thank you.’ That’s why almost every Friday night he would walk to the end of the pier with a bucket full of shrimp and a heart full of gratitude.
