They are angry that they could not railroad through the Senate legislation imposing Card Check, a Public Option for ObamaCare and Climate Change. Now it is pay back time.
These liberals intend on making it harder for Republicans to participate in the legislative process. They are also setting the table to make it easier to sieze control of the Supreme Court if any of the conservative leaning members decide to retire.
…
Liberals will regret this power grab if Republicans take over the Senate and Presidency in 2013, yet they seem so intent on short term gain that they don’t care about the long term consequences for members of the minority party.
As the first fully Anti-American leader to sit at the helm of the country, Barack Hussein Obama is self-aware enough to understand that it is not any single element, but the perception of America as a global power in every arena that feeds that hatred. And it is why he’s done everything to weaken American power and independence across every spectrum, from its economy to its military to its space program and its culture.
…
Before Assange, the left had to make do with detained Gitmo terrorists, who did the sort of things that their ACLU defenders could only fantasize about, but lacked that edge of cool. With Assange, Anti-Americanism isn’t just about defending some Kuwaiti or Somali terrorist with a Koran in one hand and a copy of Harry Potter from the Gitmo prison library in the other, anymore. Assange makes anti-Americanism cool again, replacing the more overt violence, with sabotage. Assange calculatedly acts out the fantasies of the left. And the left flocks to defend him.
…
Wikileaks is an important reminder, not for the present, but for the future, that anti-Americanism cannot be sanded away with progressive administrations. America will still be hated no matter which party and what man sit in power. It will be hated because its haters define their identity through that hatred. Their conspiracy theories enlarge their self-image. Their anti-American activism is a form of petty rebellion by overgrown children. Their sabotage is not policy based, it’s ego based. Anti-American is an emotional addiction, not a reasoned policy critique. And there’s no way to take the product away from the addict. We are not the problem. They are
Some people believe they have a right to take what another has earned. Another distinguishing characteristic of this group is their eagerness to dictate the behavior of others. These people are called progressives, socialists, communists, dictators, kings, and sometimes gangsters. We’ll refer to these people as “black hats.”
The rest of the world knows inherently that it is morally wrong to take anything from another without their permission. They also know that they have no right to direct the affairs of other people. Their unspoken motto is: “any right that I claim for myself, I will gladly grant to all others.” We’ll refer to these people as “white hats.”
Washington is full of both, but since they rarely wear a hat, it is hard to identify them until they open their mouth, or vote.
Liberal core values — to the extent that liberals have any values at all — proceed from two assumptions. First, that American criminal law must be unjust because people are not prosecuted — or protected — on the basis of their political beliefs. Second only to that, is that America — and by derivation, its secrets — are not worthy of defense.
You could say that India has outsmarted the West. They’re using DDT to keep malaria rates low and pest-resistant genetically-modified cotton to stop the insect risk to their textile industry. Now, they’re skimming a premium off the West’s chemophobia.
California’s colonization by illegal aliens with a well-known penchant for driving drunk may put an end to the inconvenience of DUI checkpoints, which moonbat activists deem to be racist
There’s no need for doubts — this much we actually know about the mysterious Manchurian Moonbat:
He was raised Muslim but converted to Black liberation theology, a cross between Marxism and black supremacism adorned inappropriately with superficial Christian trappings. He left that faith when his spiritual mentor Reverend Wright had to go under the bus for reasons of political expediency. But secretly, he’s worshiped the one moonbats believe to be the true deity all along:
In going into Gaza after 8,000 missiles were launched against their civilians , the Israelis risked the lives of IDF ground troops in an attempt to limit civilian casualties, rather than using all means necessary to defeat Hamas and destroy them.
Hamas does not understand that kind of warfare, and Israeli restraint strikes them as weakness…nor does the IDF get any credit for its effort to wage a humane war from the UN and those so-called human rights groups, who would rather demonize Israel than criticize terrorists like Hamas who not only target Israelis but brutalize their own people.
If there’s another war between Israel and Hamas, the IDF should simply destroy Hamas as quickly and efficiently as possible. If the IDF is going to be falsely accused of ‘war crimes’ no matter what they do, they’re better off having less casualties and a decisive victory over these jackals to show for it.
» Refusing to Identify or Name Our Enemies
When Pan Am 103 was shot down, when our embassies in Africa were fire-bombed, when the Navy ship USS Cole was attacked, followed by the attacks of 9/11, and then the London transit system bombings, and the Spanish train bombings—the sleeping American giant took brief notice, and refused to precisely name that one, obvious, and unifying characteristic of all these terrorists and their acts: all were Muslims proudly commiting violent acts in the name of Islam.
This avoidance of identifying the driving forces common to all these terrorists, created a vacuum of truth, quickly filled by Muslim lies that 9/11 was manufactured by America and the Mossad, that the other Muslim acts of terror were fake, or misrepresented, and that any blame is nothing less than blatant acts to defame their “religion of peace”: Islam. America’s
unwillingness to counter these fictions, has left a surprising number of our own citizens believing this rubbish. Our tepid response is clear to Islam; America is weak, reeling, broke… a shadow of the nation it once was. America is so frightened, we dare not speak the name of the enemy coiling around our necks. Instead we dance around with the terms “criminal,” “extremist,” “suicide bomber,” “terrorist,” “Chechen,” “Freedom Fighter,” “Wahabbist,” etc. but never “Muslim” nor “Islam.”

That the Cancun summit was never a climate conference at all has become increasingly obvious. Even before it began, IPCC Working Group III co-chair Ottmar Edenhofer said, COP-16 is actually “one of the largest economic conferences since the Second World War…. One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy.” In fact, it has “almost nothing to do with the environmental policy.” Its real purpose “is redistributing the world’s wealth and natural resources.”
A few days later, IPCC Executive Secretary Christiana Figueres told conference attendees, “The world is looking for new answers to the political, economic and social challenges which all countries face.” That the “new answers” focused primarily on how much more money and technology developed nations “owe” poor countries further affirmed the proceedings’ true nature.
It would appear the Democrats’ urgency around passage of the 9/11 First Responders Bill had less to do with the heroes involved than with the immense payday for heavy Democrat contributors.
