» Trading Right to Bear Arms for Right to Get High

The federal government has no constitutional authority to regulate marijuana use. But then, it is explicitly forbidden by the Constitution from infringing on our right to bear arms. Constitutionality isn’t a fashionable concept in the Age of Hope & Change.

Nothing could more perfectly exemplify a short-sighted, lotus-eating liberal slave than a pot-head who surrenders his right to bear arms so that the government will let him get stoned in peace, as if that same government couldn’t come back for the marijuana and anything else it wants after it has the guns.

» Yale pediatric study against guns is spiked with gang-bangers up to 20 years old

Leventhal’s study, published today in Pediatrics, says that 10,000 children are killed or injured by guns each year, but to get to that magic five figures, he has to do a statistical shuck and jive …
The study dramatically inflates its count of “children” by including adults aged 18-19, and includes attacks (“assaults”) by criminal youths involved in drug-dealing, turf wars between gangs, drive-by shootings, home invasions, armed robbery etc., not just poor eight-year-old Timmy or five-year-old Sally finding an unsecured firearm

» How Did ‘Millions’ of High Capacity Magazines Disappear in Connecticut?

As the State of Connecticut went through the process of gearing up to push more gun bans and bans on high capacity ammunition magazines, it was estimated that The Constitution State had at least “2.4 million” of the offending magazines within its borders. But now, after the new forced registration law set in, only about 38,000 high capacity magazines were registered. So, where did they all go?

» Why I Won’t Get a Concealed Carry Permit

… why would a newspaper conglomerate want to build databases of concealed carry permit holders? Simply obtaining the number of permit holders should be enough to provide statistics for a story, right? Why does the company need to build a database? What information would such a database contain? Names, addresses, types of weapons registered?

Hasson went onto say if the paper could have obtained the numbers and types of handguns permit holders possessed, it would have published that information as well.
… it appears that gun owners in Connecticut are not quite the sheep that jackbooted government officials may have imagined they were. After all, if there really were millions of high capacity magazines in the state–and it is very likely that there are–and they have now gone unregistered, that means that thousands of gun owners have refused to bow to this un-constitutional, anti-Second Amendment law.

In the technology age, violations of privacy come all too easy, and for some reason, too many Americans are accepting of it.
… There are a number of government databases I can’t avoid, but I can avoid this one.

While there are some advantages to having a CC permit, it’s still a permit. A certification that one has gone to government and begged for government permission to exercise one’s Right to keep and bear arms.

» Everything that’s wrong with America in two sentences

1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works.
2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare running out of money? What’s interesting is the first group “worked for” their money, but the second didn’t.

What’s going on is spelled exactly like the word Tyranny

» What in the hell is going on?

… a pattern of threats, intimidation, and institutional abuse from the Obama Administration has developed.

… we have reports of how many journalists/reporters/columnists being bullied, threatened, ‘warned,’ secretly wiretapped, hacked, or otherwise surveilled by the Obama Administration? Five? Six?

Here’s a list: WaPo’s Bob Woodward, CBS’ Sharyl Attkisson, Fox’s James Rosen and Jennifer Griffin, National Journal’s Ron Fournier, and former Clinton Administration advisor-turned-columnist Lanny Davis.

Along with those reports are also a number of institutional abuses, including a recent court filing (in a $5 billion lawsuit filed by the feds against McGraw Hill) claiming threats made by the Treasury Sec. toward the company’s CEO regarding S&P’s downgrade of US Treasuries; the various IRS abuses against conservative groups; along with the recent federal indictment of Obama critic Dinesh D’Souza, in which there appears to be a relatively huge bond compared to similar campaign contribution cases ($500,000).

Are there more stories not being told by an Administration-friendly media? What in the hell is going on?

» Politicizing Homeland Security

In comments to the United States Conference of Mayors, Johnson pitched the latest amnesty talking points, in which he claimed that in order to finally secure our borders it would be necessary not to enforce existing immigration law but rather to indemnify those who have so nobly trespassed in our country.

It was red meat for the paramours of both major political parties and their crony corporatist donors. Happy too, no doubt, were no small number of U.S. mayors, many of whom will be quite content to score tens of thousands of new voters, many who will become dependent upon the government goodies they can dole out in their respective cities.

» Congress Hands It All Over to Obama

;In addition to bad economic policy, the president talked about bringing more high-speed Internet access to schools, passing amnesty and, perhaps most alarmingly, using his executive orders to pass gun control laws that have not been able to make it through Congress.

… Obama stood up before the world and repeatedly threatened to sidestep Congress to make his agenda happen … and the members of both chambers of Congress did nothing about it.
So really that’s it, then. Congress is a figurehead, a rubber stamp and nothing else. If Obama orders something even more outrageous than is the norm for him, Congress may make some noises about investigations or even impeachment.
But that’s all it will be is noise, because we now effectively have two branches of government, and it’s anybody’s guess how long it will be before Obama castrates the Judicial Branch as well.

» Watch the part of Ted Cruz’s Face the Nation interview that got cut out by CBS

SCHIEFFER: “Will you run for President?”

CRUZ: “My focus is on the abuse of power of this President. Let’s take something like the IRS scandal-“

SCHIEFFER: “Do I take that as a yes or a no?”

CRUZ: “What you can take is that my focus is standing and fighting right now in the Senate to bring back jobs and economic growth. Let me tell you something that is deeply concerning—the abuse of power from this Administration. We’ve seen multiple filmmakers prosecuted and the government’s gone after them. Whether it’s the poor fellow that did the film that the President blamed Benghazi and the terrorist attacks on, turns out that wasn’t the reason for the attack but the Administration went and put that poor fellow in jail on unrelated charges. Just this week it was broken that Dinesh D’Souza, who did a very big movie criticizing the president, is now being prosecuted by this Administration.”

SCHIEFFER: “Senator-“

CRUZ: “Can you image the reaction if the Bush Administration had went, gone and prosecuted Michael Moore and Alec Baldwin and Sean Penn?”

CRUZ: It should trouble everyone the government uses government power and the IRS in particular to target their enemies and you are talking a new minutes to Chuck Schumer—“

SCHIEFFER: “We are going to leave this for another day, senator. Thank you for joining us and we’ll talk to you again.”

Why did the Leftist Moonbat cross the road?
» International Zoophile Rights/Bestiality Rights Day

The Gay Agenda blitzkrieg has been a smashing success for the forces of moonbattery. Behavior that had been nearly universally regarded with revulsion until very recently is now shielded from criticism under the umbrella of “civil rights.” Each victory by the radical left provides momentum for its next campaign. Those wondering where we go from here will find out this Saturday …

E.F.A. [Equality for All] will be spearheading an international effort to name February 1st, ‘International Zoophile-Rights/Beastiality-Rights Day!’

E.F.A. Member Levo shared an essay in honor of ZRBR-Day …
So long as we retain our ability to comprehend, criticize, and think, we will stay strong and continue down our path to universal acceptance. Look how much progress we’ve made! LGBTQ people have a voice! Teachers, politicians, and even some priests sport the rainbow key-chain, bracelet or flag. Marches of pride occur worldwide! …

Zoophilia is the next concept that we as a conscious society should attempt to understand and accept; the next step we need to implement to alter the world and forge better, stronger, continents. …

The age of jugmentalism [sic] is coming to a timely close.

Remember way, way back when some folks said that coerced acceptance of gays’ right to marriage would inevitably lead to demands for the rights to sexually abuse children … and even worse stuff?
Actually, ” way, way back when” was about a year ago and “worse stuff” is sexual abuse of animals … and “some folks” is me, among many others.

Note how the ‘animal lovers’ frame their statements as though they’re doing the animals a favor? As though animals are looking forward to gettin’ it on with leftist freaks.

So …
Why did the Leftist Moonbat cross the road?
It’s you-know-what was stuck in a chicken.

» I Have a Dream

I have a dream. About half-way through the address, a lone soul stands, and as Obama’s gaze moves from the teleprompter to look at this thing that has never before happened, all eyes turn to the lone soul, who says in a steady and measured voice:

“Mr. President, why did the General in charge of Benghazi, General Carter Ham, not know that the CIA annex existed? And how did the Pentagon not know that the Special Mission, housing our Ambassador, existed? How can that be? What was the plan to protect these Americans?

» Where Are They Now: Chocolate City Ray Nagin

Ray Nagin … was indicted Friday on 21 federal corruption charges, including bribery, money laundering, fraud and filing false tax returns.

Much like some of his constituents, Nagin took no responsibility for doing something on his own about the disaster that befell his city, but earned the affection of the media by lying on his back as helpless as a baby in a crib whining for Mommy Government to change his diapers. He shrieked like a woman with a mouse up her skirt that the government should “Get every doggone Greyhound bus line in the country and get their asses moving to New Orleans.” Meanwhile, local school buses sat idle near the makeshift human zoo in the Superdome until they were engulfed by flood waters.

As a corrupt, foul-mouthed, race-baiting, irresponsible whiner of no use to anyone, Ray Nagin remains an inspiration for young liberals with political aspirations. If Nagin could become mayor of major city, what properly pigmented moonbat couldn’t?

(THHO)Obama finally meets a union he doesn’t love
» ICE Union Boss Urges GOP: Don’t Ignore Immigration Officers

Chris Crane, president of the National ICE Council, the union representing officers of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, issued a statement Tuesday ahead of President Obama’s State of the Union address. Crane blasted the president for his repeated refusal to meet with ICE officers at the White House, and asked House Republican leaders to consult with ICE personnel as they work to outline their immigration reform “principles”

» Public university Sex Week to teach masturbation, when orgasms are a ‘political act’

University of Tennessee (UT), a public school, has announced the schedule for its second annual Sex Week, complete with a lectures on orgasms as a political act and masturbation.

I didn’t read enough to learn how to make orgasm a political act … but you can if you want.
I got better things to do.
