» The Insanity of Nine Kings and Queens

I am incapable of seeing anything other than a consortium of kings and queens when I look at the Supreme Court. Despite their objections, they act as often irrationally and insanely as they do rationally. One good ruling that seems to represent the Constitution is obliterated by another that is pulled out of thin air or over-reliant on the vaguest clauses.

Roe v. Wade is also insane when considering gun laws. In one instance a right unmentioned in the Constitution is discovered in the shadows of other rights where the whole body of intention is taken as gospel, but the clear and concise language of “…the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed” is somehow an all too vague and ill-defined clause to be faithfully upheld.

» It’s Not Just Egypt: Japan Is Headed for the Brink

Which, for those of you uninterested in economics, translates roughly to, “Oh, s***.”

Michelle Malkin discusses the common links between most of the businesses and groups that have received ‘Get Outta Obamacare Free’ cards.
» Waivers for Favors: Big Labor’s Obamacare escape hatch

Clearly, now that it’s passed and we can finally see what’s in the hulking Obamacare package, all of Obama’s buddies are lining up to get their exemptions. It would appear that free government healthcare is only good for non-liberals.

The groups that stand out amongst the exempted parasites are the unions – SEIU in particular.

Most noteworthy: One-fourth of all the waivers (182) have gone to Big Labor groups across the country so far.
The Teamsters Union …. obtained waivers for 17 different locals.

The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) … secured waivers for 28 different affiliates.

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers … saw 8 of its affiliates win shelter from the Obamacare wrecking ball.

The Communications Workers of America … snagged a waiver that will spare a hefty 19,000 of its members from the onerous federal mandate

And finally …

the Service Employees International Union …. added four new affiliates to the waiver list:

– SEIU Local 2000 Health and Welfare Fund, representing 161 enrollees
– SEIU 32BJ North Health Benefit Fund, representing 7,020 enrollees
– SEIU Local 300, Civil Service Forum Employees Welfare Fund, representing 2,000 enrollees
– SEIU Health & Welfare Fund representing 1,620

That’s in addition to three other previous SEIU waiver winners: Local 25 SEIU in Chicago with 31,000 enrollees; Local 1199 SEIU Greater New York Benefit Fund with 4,544 enrollees; and SEIU Local 1 Cleveland Welfare Fund with 520 enrollees — which brings the total number of Obamacare-promoting SEIU Obamacare refugees to an estimated 45,000 workers represented by seven SEIU locals.

SEIU members participating in violent revolutionary causes, and SEIU leadership defending them
» Is SEIU Working With Hamas And FARC?

SEIU members are being investigated for potential ties to terrorists, and SEIU leadership is supporting non-cooperation with law enforcement. Can we question their patriotism yet??

The bottom line is that in addition to demanding the right to riot on the streets of America, the Progressive movement in this country (including SEIU) wants the right to organize “non-violent” actions with Hamas and FARC.

If you don’t believe that the days of progressive/liberal/anarchists rioting in the streets are almost here, boy – are you in for some entertainment. Hope you don’t live in a big city.

Gives me a tingle, just thinking about it … up and down my right index finger.

Did Muslim Brotherhood Learn ‘Day of Rage’ Egypt Protest Tactics From Obama Allies Bill Ayers and Code Pink?

Kristinn Taylor and Andrea Shea King ask some good questions.

It is telling that the protests Friday in Egypt were dubbed by the Muslim Brotherhood, a “day of rage.”
The Brotherhood said its members will demonstrate “with all the national Egyptian forces, the Egyptian people, so that this coming Friday … will be the general day of rage for the Egyptian nation.”

“Days of Rage” is what the Weathermen called their violent, riotous protests in Chicago in 1969.

The question is begged: What have Obama’s allies Ayers, Dohrn and Code Pink taught the Muslim Brotherhood and other anti-Mubarak organizations in Egypt about using protests, riots and the modern social media to coordinate their actions to undermine the Mubarak regime?

Since they’ve all spent a fair amount of time in Egypt, pimping around with the terrorists, it’s a dang good question.

» The Left Defends Its Advocate of Violence

In her December 2010 Nation column, Piven wrote, “Local protests have to accumulate and spread — and become more disruptive — to create pressures on national politicians. An effective movement of the unemployed will have to look something like the strikes and riots that have spread across Greece.”

like the Greenwich Village bomb that killed its Weather Underground makers, this one could go off early. What these people are doing to America could blow up right in their faces, just like Piven’s words blew up in hers.

» The ‘Your Money Is Not Yours’ Crowd

… the money you earn — the material manifestation of your mental and physical labor — is not yours. It belongs to the government.

This view was recently on display when some referred to the extension of the Bush tax rates as “tax cuts.” With tax cuts, taxpayers pay lower rates. With an extension of tax rates, taxpayers keep paying the same rate. Extending the Bush tax rates prevented tax rates from going up. Nobody got a tax cut.

But to the “your money is not yours” crowd, the government gives you a tax cut when it refrains from raising your taxes. It’s a gift. You should be grateful that it does not take even more of what you have earned. It belongs to the government, after all.

Oh, well den. Once you explain it like that, it makes more sense.

» Are We All Neocons Now?

Events in Egypt have moved beyond the demonstration stage. This is a revolution in progress.

But whatever happens, one thing is already clear: … President Bush was right in pushing his “freedom agenda” for the Middle East.

When he pushed for democratic change in the region, legions of know-it-all skeptics — including Barack Obama — scoffed. What business was it of America to comment on, much less try to change, other countries’ internal affairs? Why meddle with reliable allies? Wasn’t it the height of neocon folly to imagine a more democratic future for places like Iraq or Egypt?

» In Bush v. Obama, Bush Wins in a Rout

This is what Obama has done now that he has been given the keys to the car (to use a favorite metaphor of his). He’s taken us from a ditch, one largely of his and his party’s making, and driven us into the side of mountain.

On his worst day, the economic decisions by Obama’s predecessor were better, more responsible, and more enlightened that anything President Obama has done.

George W. Bush’s presidency was certainly not perfect; none are. But like Truman before him, Bush’s achievements will be vindicated. Unless he changes course fairly dramatically, I rather doubt the same thing will be said about Mr. Obama.

Weak Headline Alert
» Immigrant database failed to detect suspect before rape of young girl

Lemme Summit Furya
Our federal government – whose authorities and powers are severely restricted by our constitution; whose few responsibilities actually mandated by the constitution include protecting and securing our borders – refuses to do anything to protect and secure our borders.
When an 8 year old child is raped – in her own home – by someone from another country, the headlines produced by our constitutionally free media cannot address the real problem. Instead of pointing out the failure to secure the borders they can only talk about how difficult it is to track immigrants.
Immigration is not the problem. Invasion is the problem.

As long as liberals continue to see voters bridging the Rio Grande instead of invaders crashing the gates – our American culture, economy and sovereignty will remain under assault – not to mention our children.

Just Sayin’
I don’t know what Charlie Moonbat Sheen’s problem is these days. I hear he’s in the hospital, or rehab or something … whatever.
Don’t know, don’t care – and please don’t tell me. In some matters I prefer ignorance.

However, I’m wondering … if he drops out of the show Two and Half Men, will they change the name to Two Men?
Ya know? Since they lost the half man … ya know?

never mind.

» “Over” or “On”? A question for politicians of the citizen disarmament persuasion.

Are people spending their hard-earned money in the middle of a semi-depression on extended magazines and semi-auto weapons of military utility just to turn them OVER to politicians after they ban them, or to turn them ON said politicians after they ban them?
