» U.S. Military Serving as Chauffeurs, Babysitters for the Pelosi Kids: Receipts That Will Blow Your Mind

What hasn’t been revealed so far is that military aircraft are being used to shuttle Pelosi’s kids and grandkids between DC and San Francisco without any Congressional representatives even onboard! Put simply, the United States Air Force is serving as a multi-billion dollar chauffeur- and baby-sitting service for Nancy Pelosi’s kids and grandkids — presumably because commercial travel is beneath the families of the autocrats.

» Class War : How public servants became our masters

People who are supposed to serve the public have become a privileged elite that exploits political power for financial gain and special perks. Because of its political power, this interest group has rigged the game so there are few meaningful checks on its demands. Government employees now receive far higher pay, benefits, and pensions than the vast majority of Americans working in the private sector. Even when they are incompetent or abusive, they can be fired only after a long process and only for the most grievous offenses.

It’s a two-tier system in which the rulers are making steady gains at the expense of the ruled. The predictable results: Higher taxes, eroded public services, unsustainable levels of debt, and massive roadblocks to reforming even the poorest performing agencies and school systems. If this system is left to grow unchecked, we will end up with a pale imitation of the free society envisioned by the Founders.

… Marxism, communism or socialism; whether it is applied heavily or lightly; and whether it is done with the best of intentions or the worst– is fundamentally anti-human .

What happens when psychological denial ceases to be unconscious and becomes a deliberate, willful, and consciously evil behavior– in spite of all the accumulated evidence of its malignant impact on real people in the real world?

At that point we can safely assume that we are no longer dealing with a purely defensive structure in the psyche; we are dealing with aggressive, unadulterated sociopathy.

The 20th century became the playground (and litter box) for the narcissist; and by the time the 21st century rolled around, malignant narcissism was not even considered deviant, it had gone mainstream. Since psychopathology continually evolves and worsens if it is not confronted and dealt with, what we have now in our culture, particularly the political system, is the endstage of psychological evolution under postmodernism: the sociopath who disguises his or her sociopathy by selflessness (now marketed as “hope and change”).

We can thank primarily the political left and its useful idiots for the persistent, unyielding, and willful celebration of–and ultimately mainstreaming of–malignant narcissism. We have entered the age of postmodern sociopathy and nihilism.

» The Democrat Congressmen From Hamas

Led by ex-Nation of Islam member and Minnesota congressman Keith Ellison, … Democrat members of the House sent a letter to President Obama urging him to pressure Israel to unilaterally open its borders with Gaza.

Needless to say, there’s absolutely no recognition of the attacks on Israel, which is why those borders were closed in the first place after Hamas took over the Strip in a violent coup that started the civil war between Hamas and Fatah.

To prove how anti-Israel and anti-Semitic this letter is, there’s absolutely no mention of pressuring Egypt, a large recipient of US foreign aid, to open Egypt’s borders with Gaza or to stop building its new security barrier, which includes underground steel barriers to make tunnel smuggling more difficult. Only Israel is singled out.

For my North Carolina readers, a few reminders:

– CAIR’s chairman is NC Senator Larry Shaw, who represents the district that encompasses Fort Bragg, home of the 82nd.

– And a reminder that CAIR enjoys the association and mutual support of Islamic cleric Zaid Shakir who “suggested Islamic law permits Muslims to attack C-130 military transport planes carrying the 82nd Airborne”

– If you scroll down while reading the article, you will find a list of the 53 congressmen that signed on with Ellison. Any North Carolina reps on that list? Why, yes there is! … David Price, the one we’re going to replace with Frank Roche.

» U.S. Cancels No-Bid Contract for Afghan Work to Democratic Donor

The U.S. has canceled a $25 million federal contract for work in Afghanistan awarded to a company owned by a Democratic campaign contributor without entertaining competitive bids.

The cancellation comes after Fox News first reported on the details of the contract last week, prompting lawmakers to make inquiries into the deal. State Department Spokesman P.J. Crowley told Fox News that USAID terminated the award and is now working on an appropriate resolution.

The contract had been awarded on Jan. 4 to Checchi & Company Consulting, a Washington-based firm owned by economist and Democratic donor Vincent V. Checchi that was hired to provide “rule of law stabilization services” in war-torn Afghanistan.

… Federal campaign records show Checchi has been a frequent contributor to liberal and Democratic causes and candidates in recent years, including to Obama’s presidential campaign.

» Another About-Face?

In a remarkable and entirely welcome reversal, the Eric Holder Justice Department has retreated in its effort to pursue ethics charges against Bush administration lawyers who authored memos on enhanced interrogation.

… perhaps some sanity has been restored to the Justice Department. If so, we can finally turn our attention from waging war against the prior administration to determining how to uproot the failed policies of this one. Then on to steering an approach to combating terrorism that is both effective and enjoys the support of the public.

Sanity? No, I don’t detect any evidence of that. This is indeed a retreat and is nothing more than response of survival instinct – political survival.

Instinct does not require sanity.

» ANGRY Obama Lashes Out at House Republicans: “I Am Not an Ideologue”

“Obama is not only an ideologue, he’s an ideologue in denial.”

» Obama, GOP exchange barbs, ideas in rare encounter

In a remarkably sharp face-to-face confrontation, President Barack Obama chastised Republican lawmakers Friday for opposing him on taxes, health care and the economic stimulus, while they accused him in turn of brushing off their ideas and driving up the national debt.

Obama said Republican lawmakers have attacked his health care overhaul so fiercely, “you’d think that this thing was some Bolshevik plot.” His proposals are mainstream, widely supported ideas, he said, and they deserve some GOP votes in Congress.

» Obama’s ‘Question Time’ With The House Republicans

He claims that the Republicans’ rhetoric has denied them any room to compromise on ObamaCare, because they told a bunch of lies to their fascist wingnut tea party going supporters.

Obama actually handled the so-called ‘stimulus’ better, at least from his point of view. He rammed that through in a matter of days while actually locking every Republican in Congress out of the room while the Democrats dickered on which political allies were going to be rewarded with what.

The complaint Obama makes actually applies much more to himself. It was Obama who deliberately demonized insurance companies, lied about illegal aliens receiving care, made a back room borderline illegal deal with Big Pharma and sold his worshipers on the Left that the public option was the only way to go and that guv’mint run healthcare was a necessity.

It was Obama and his allies who demonized his opposition and staked everything on steamrolling the opposition and getting ObamaCare passed by whatever means necessary to “win” and to prove how macho he was.

Obama’s now reduced to expecting the Republicans to cut him some slack and compromise, precisely because he isn’t able to.

the Chase …

» Michael Barone on 2010 Elections

… if the election were held today Republicans would do better than in 1994 or 2002, their best years since the “had enough?” Republican landslide of 1946.

This is the real reason the President suddenly wants to talk with the GOP and be reasonable. He had no such interest in doing so when his numbers were up and he had a supermajority in the Senate. Now he’s begging house Republicans to give him an issue that will save his party’s bacon come November.

Here’s a thought…Give him nothing and let him own his own failure.

Drive it home …

» Obama: Health Care Was Not a Deceptive Big Government Plot

… the President is reprimanding Republicans for labeling his health reform proposal some kind of socialist, big government plot. Funny, but I seem to remember hearing almost identical complaints from the President a few months ago

… no one in the MSM ever bothered to report on the eminently real and verifiable attempt by liberals to quietly move the country toward single-payer, the President is once again washing his hands of it and claiming he was never party to it.

» Oh Yea, ‘Bout That Foreign Money Creeping into American Politics

When Obama dissed the Supreme Court in his State of Obfuscation Preach, he famously and incorrectly stated that their decision on Citizens United v. FEC threatened to allow money from foreign corporations to enter our political system. Funny choice of attack, thought I, as I was reminded of the influence that foreign money had on Dear Leader’s own election campaign.

I don’t know what the gunman had planned and I’m sure that the authorities in the People’s Republic of NJ have prevented a major incident, but seriously, I could throw a rock, and hit people with more guns at home than this guy.

Knowing that KAHR40 resides in the triangle area of N.C., I’d say he doesn’t even need to throw the rock, a casual kick would do the trick.

» Taking the NYT to the woodshed for agreeing with Obama: We’re stupid

Barry was not a professor. He never went through vetting for such. He lacked a Ph.D. He taught one course: Con Law at the undergrad level. And have you heard much from his students clamoring about him being oh so SMART? Teaching Con Law is no different than teaching Criminal Procedure or Criminal Law or Evidence or Torts or any of a number of constitutional- or common-law-driven subjects. I know, Chuckie, I’ve taught them all – undergrad and Master’s.

And if you are trying to suggest that a “professor” routinely speaks above his students, thus requiring them to find him rather than the opposite, then I write without fear of contradiction that the “professor” sucks at his or her job. Following me?
