» STOP THE BATFE’S ‘MULTIPLE SALES’ REPORTING

This data collection is unlawful, it lacks any practical purpose, and it is an undue burden on those gun dealers tasked with collecting, tracking and filing the forms.

Note the part about what the ATF is doing being unlawful. Not that it matters much, and not that it’s something new.
Geez, one would think we people would have gotten used to being bullied by federal bureaucrats by now. We shoulda got used to our rights being stripped a long time ago, and get over all the whining.
Am I right? Let me know if you agreed with that … include your address, cause I’d like to come visit, maybe slap the pap out of you.

The NRA pdf that was linked in the above article by GRNC includes these little tiddly bits:

Through its purported demand-letter authority, in 2011 ATF sent a letter to all federally-licensed firearms dealers in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and California requiring them to submit “reports of multiple sales or other dispositions whenever, at one time or during any five consecutive business days, you sell or otherwise dispose of two or more semi-automatic rifles capable of accepting a detachable magazine and with a caliber greater than .22 (including .223/5.56 caliber) to an unlicensed person.” This reporting requirement is beyond ATF’s authority and violates interrelated statutory provisions prohibiting the registration of firearm owners.

Few of the FFLs who must comply have ever sold a rifle that was traced from Mexico. The demand letter is not based on any failure to comply with any law or regulation or on any pretense of criminal investigation. Nor does it have any time limit, and instead must be obeyed indefinitely in the future at ATF’s discretion. ATF recognizes no limit to its authority, which it could interpret to authorize sending the letter to every FFL in all fifty states.

You know, one thing you can say about the IRS: the fact that they are crashing hard drives and lying their butts off would indicate that they, at least, and finally, have recognized the limits of their authority. Although they continue to veer outside of those limits they can see the redlines in their rear-views.

ATF can’t even see their boundaries.

This video raises some unanswered questions:

Perhaps the most interesting part of the video is at mark 1:38 where customers are interviewed. The family is visiting from Cleveland, Ohio and says “… perfect vacation … coming to the South … I probably wouldn’t go into a restaurant in Cleveland that had that [sign] on the door … but I have no problem going into a restaurant down here with that on the door
Ain’t that interesting? I don’t think the reporter nor the lady from Cleveland realized the profoundly deep insight of that statement.

I wonder why the reporter didn’t follow up on that with a simple “why”?
I would have
1- is it because you feel like Southern restaurant-goers are more civil or mentally stable?
or 2 – is it because you think most northern restaurant customers are crazy or violent natured?
or 3 – is it because you think that most northern guns are owned by violent criminals?
or 4 – or just that most southern guns are owned by responsible law-abiding adults?

I mean, dang! reporter, I coulda made a two hour documentary outta that one interview.

» IRS: Maybe Lois Lerner Emails Aren’t So “Lost” After All, Oh, And We Lost a Few More Too

The IRS’s new story on the Lerner emails comes just days after the DOJ announced it was beginning an investigation into the matter and just one week after a pair of federal judges demanded answers “under oath” from the IRS on what exactly happened with Lerner’s hard dive and how these emails went missing.

Yet this latest testimony also revealed several more IRS employees who worked for Lerner during the targeting scandal now appear to have had similar computer issues.

» Top Nine Gaza Media Myths
Last night, the insufferable little prick that CBS calls their news anchor blamed Israel’s embargo as the root cause of the current troubles.

before there was a missile assault and other terror attacks from Hamas-ruled Gaza, there was no “embargo,” just as there is no embargo on the West Bank.

So missiles are not the answer for the embargo, they are the cause for the embargo.

Myth: Hamas has no choice but to place weapons and fighters in populated areas since the Gaza Strip is so crowded that is all there is …
Fact: There is actually plenty of open space in Gaza, including the now empty sites where Israeli settlements once stood. The Hamas claim, parroted by the Times reporter, is nonsense.

Beyond this, placing your own civilians around or near a military target to act as “human shields” is prohibited by the Fourth Geneva Convention:

Art. 28. The presence of a protected person may not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations.

Myth: Israel is in the wrong because it’s not fighting fair: it has anti-missile defenses and bomb shelters, while the Palestinians don’t …

Hamas has imported huge quantities of cement, but it’s been forcefully diverted from the civilian sector and instead used to build bunkers and tunnels for Hamas leaders and fighters

It is ironic that Israel is criticized for successfully protecting its civilians by following international law, while Hamas is portrayed as a victim because it violates that same international law.

» The Noose Around Israel’s Neck

For two decades Israel has been walking toward the gallows. Its leaders have led it there by empty international assurances. Its people have been led there by refusing to see what is waiting ahead for them, even while the blood was being cleaned off the streets.

Every attempt to reach a peaceful solution, every concession and show of good faith, has only tightened the bonds around its hands and the noose around its neck.

This is not a peace process, and it has never been one. It is a public lynching. It is the lynching of a country whose only real crime is that its existence offends the religious fanaticism and prejudices of a billion Muslims, who control much of the world’s oil, and whose followers are willing to riot and kill in the streets of nearly every major city in the world at the slightest offense.

The endgame is all too clear. The undoing of that “mistake” which allowed the oldest and most persecuted minority in the Middle East to briefly reclaim their homeland from the tyranny of Muslim Caliphs and Sultans as a homeland for their persecuted brethren from the east and the west.

Israel is not condemned because of what Israel does. It is condemned because of Islamic bigotry, left wing radicalism and international dhimmism converging in one place.

» New Islamic Caliphate Declares Jihad on…Muslims

Islam’s war on the apostate, so little known in the West, figures prominently in Islamic history. Indeed, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, one of the most influential Islamic clerics today, while once discussing the importance of killing any Muslim who apostatizes from Islam on Al Jazeera, correctly stated that “[i]f the [death] penalty for apostasy was ignored, there would not be an Islam today; Islam would have ended on the death of the prophet.”

While this approach may be temporarily good for Israel (and all infidel states), in the long run, a fully functioning and unified caliphate with “reformed” Muslims next door is not a pretty picture. After all, the Islamic State is not exonerating the infidel, but rather saying his turn will come once the caliphate is capable of an all-out assault. At best, it’s a temporary reprieve.

» Muslims and Moonbats Rally in San Francisco Against Israel’s Right of Self-Defense

The Muslim–moonbat alliance’s response is reported with fawning approval by the San Francisco Comical

But it’s not funny how often leftist moonbats are found in the company of terrorists.
Moonbats fit right in with murdering muslims … almost as good a fit as with their communist comrades

If ANSWERcoalition.org looks familiar, you could be thinking of all the anti-war rallies staged by this group right up until Obama took power and became responsible for the wars. With leftists, to use their own words, “the issue is never the issue.” For ANSWER, the issue is not war; it is Marxism. It is an openly Stalinist organization.

Who is this Revcom.us? What a coincidence: more commies. Its website bills itself as “The voice of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA.”

Maybe they are just naive fools who don’t realize that Palestine = Hamas in the context of the current conflict. If so, they must protest with their eyes closed

Communist governments killed over 100 million of their own people in the course of the 20th century. You can’t expect communists to be squeamish about the hundreds of innocents killed by Hamas terrorists.

Raw evil will always find noisy support in San Francisco, thanks to the area’s infestation with progressives.

Any group, organization, entity or nation that clearly defines itself as anti-American can count on the support of leftist American moonbats.
Without exception.

» More Violent Gang Members Turn Up Among Illegal Alien Children

What will become of the young sociopaths …
According to sources inside the processing center, these unaccompanied MS-13 and 18th Street minors are being held for placement inside the United States.

» The brutal Obama policy that’s really driving the Border Crisis

The flood of illegal immigrant children, piling up like human debris on the US border, won’t stop until conservatives learn about the obscure Obama administration policy that’s deliberately driving it and reverse it.

The price these children pay for Obama’s policy is often horrific.

“Officials at Lackland Air Force Base told us that one-third of young girls that come across – and they were just like little babies; 10, 11, 14 years of age. That about one third of them get raped and/or abused on the way here,” CBS reports.

Some come with parents who use them as a guarantee of safe passage. But thousands more are dumped at the border when they are no longer needed – or worse, in the case of the 11-year-old recently found dead on the Texas side of the border. It’s why tens of thousands of unattended children are suddenly turning up there. Or, they are sent for by relatives here looking to use them as a shield against deportation.

When the directive was issued, the Obama administration sold it as a protection for illegal immigrant families, whose children might be left hiding in the shadows alone if mom or dad were scooped up and deported.

That sounds compassionate, but there’s proof the Obama administration deliberately designed the policy to cause the flood of children ….

» Bordering on Madness

The real issue when it comes to immigration is not simply what particular immigration policy America should have, but whether America can have any immigration policy at all.

A country that does not control its own borders does not have any immigration policy. There may be laws on the books, but such laws are just meaningless words if people from other countries can cross the borders whenever they choose.

» Global Warming’s Upside-Down Narrative

When politicians around the world tell the story of global warming, they cast it as humanity’s greatest challenge. But they also promise that it is a challenge that they can meet at low cost, while improving the world in countless other ways. We now know that is nonsense.

Climate change has been portrayed as a huge catastrophe costing as much as 20% of world GDP, though brave politicians could counter it at a cost of just 1% of GDP. The reality is just the opposite …

We live in a world where one in six deaths are caused by easily curable infectious diseases; one in eight deaths stem from air pollution, mostly from cooking indoors with dung and twigs; and billions of people live in abject poverty, with no electricity and little food. We ought never to have entertained the notion that the world’s greatest challenge could be to reduce temperature rises in our generation by a fraction of a degree.

If somebody in Columbus OH wanted to pitch a Hispanic Lesbian festival, no eyes would blink. The city would probably offer to pay for it. And that’s not hyperbole, look at San Fransicko, they can do annual d*ck s*cking contests … in the freekin’ streets! and there’s no outrage. Really, there’s no public outrage, cause have you ever heard about it? No? You’d think you woulda, eh?

But if somebody wants to have a straight white guy festival, moonbat heads spin fast enough to enrich uranium.

» Festival Flyers Have Residents Asking If ‘Straight White Guy Festival’ Is Real Or A Joke

“I think it detracts from the real problems of Ohio that need to be solved, that are being denied their constitutional rights because of who they are, or who the love. And that’s what we really need to work on and this is just kind of a distraction,”

Because they wouldn’t want anyone to go a full five minutes without some sorta homo/muslim/mexican/communist/warmal-cooling/Obamabot propaganda pounded into their skulls. Nope, don’t want no distraction.

“It doesn’t offend me personally …. But I can think of people it would offend.”

Of course they’re offended. Mission accomplished.
Offend them some more.
Never pass up an opportunity to offend.

I used ‘*’ in phrase “annual d*ck s*cking contests” above – only because I don’t want to deal with the flood of p*rn spam that would roll in if I used the real words.

Not because I don’t want to use wirdy dords or because I don’t want to insult somebody’s sensitivities. On the contrary, your sensitivities need to be insulted. If you can’t handle the use of the words, then you certainly are not ready to handle the evil they represent.

» Daniel Hannan goes to the heart of things, praising the rule of law

He asserts that the Rule of Law’s primacy in the Anglo-American sphere is the basis for the freedom and prosperity that led these two nations [U.K. and U.S.] to dominate the world, seriatim, for centuries. More than asserting that, he made his case supporting this assertion.

The Magna Carta is the first writing ever that holds that there are abstract legal principles inherent in the individual that transcend even the king himself. Even when one remembers that these inherent principles were written so as to apply only to a very small band of high lords, this was still the moment that led directly to America’s Bill of Rights. That document too states that there are inherent legal principles that protect against their government, the difference being that those rights extend to all people, not just the privileged few.

Why is insouciance Obama’s first response to international crises?

insouciance
[ inˈso͞osēəns, ˌaNso͞oˈsyäNs ]
noun
casual lack of concern; indifference.
“an impression of boyish insouciance”
synonyms: nonchalance · unconcern · indifference · heedlessness · calm ·

I looked it up so you don’t have to, not that I never heard the word before with no clue what it meant. Ain’t that nice of me?

“This … is the president who didn’t address the country for three days after the attempted bombing of an airliner over Detroit on Christmas Day 2009, who gave a “shout-out” to an audience member moments before his first comments on the Fort Hood shooting, and who attended a campaign rally on September 12, 2012, when most Americans awoke to the news of the murder of four Americans in a terror attack in Benghazi, Libya.”
