» The Ball is in Our Court

147 years after the passage of the Thirteenth Amendment, we are back to debating slavery. But it’s not a debate that began today. Everyone who pays taxes can calculate how much time they spend working for their masters in Washington, D.C. How much of their income the serfs are obligated to send home to the barons in the white palaces who will decide how much of it to hand out to their friends and how much of it to use on the endless expenses of government.

Around the same time as the evils of racial slavery were being fought, the building blocks of economic slavery were being hammered together with the Revenue Act of 1861, the first Federal income tax and the first attack on the Constitution, that concluded with the Sixteenth Amendment. One hundred years before the election that brought Obama to power, the Democratic platform called for an income tax, “to the end that wealth may bear its proportionate share of the burdens of the Federal Government”.

The burden has grown vastly since then. It has grown out of all proportion. And to achieve its goals, the government began selling off its assets. Its chief assets are us.
The left has gotten this far by subverting institutions and it is being increasingly open about not caring for the forms or for anything that interferes with its objectives. As a defense against it, the Supreme Court is a fragile entity. It is meant to serve as a final review for a law-abiding legislature, not for a thuggish executive and a legislature that passes bills without knowing what it is in them. In an era in which the executive, the legislative and the judicial branches have all been warped, none of them can be relied on to do the right thing.

Define ‘rampage’, you weezley little prick.
» Patrick Kennedy warns of Tea Party “rampage” if SCOTUS upholds Obamacare
Is that like the 912 Tea Party rampage through D.C.? Where the entire place was left cleaner than it was the day before? Where the arrest and assault count was Zero?
Or rampage like the peaceful occupy movement? Where pristine parks were transformed into landfills. Where drug use, rape, disease, public defecation and bloody violence were not only common-place but practically mandatory?

I predict that by the end of today, we will see rampage. The leftists will show us teabaggers how rampage is done.

» HANSON: Legality of illegal immigration
Legality?! My dear Mr. Hanson; what, prithee, does legality have to do with the processes of this administration?

…. there is a problem of constitutionality, an especially serious issue for former constitutional law lecturer Barack Obama, who ran for president on the premise that he would restore respect for the separation of powers. But as seen in the reversal of the order of Chrysler’s creditors, the attempt to shut down a nonunion Boeing plant in South Carolina, the decision not to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act, and the recent use of executive privilege in order to withhold Operation Fast and Furious documents, this administration sometimes just bypasses a now-difficult Congress to rule by fiat.

The move contradicts Mr. Obama’s earlier claim that a de facto amnesty “would not conform with my appropriate role as president.” He later reiterated that “some people want me to bypass Congress and change the laws on my own,” but “that’s not how our system works.”

Obama was against the constitution before he was insulted by it, which was after he was confused by it and while he was oblivious to it.

» Dems urge NRA to stay out of contempt fight

Chris Cox, the NRA’s chief lobbyist, also accused the administration of launching the Fast and Furious program as an effort to promote tougher gun control laws.

“The reason we support the contempt resolution is the same reason we first called for Attorney General Holder’s resignation more than a year ago: the Department’s obstruction of congressional oversight of a program that cost lives in support of an anti-gun agenda,” Cox wrote.

My favorite comment:

The NRA has some nerve thinking that it can take a position on Congressional business when, as we all know, this is a privilege reserved for the AFL-CIO and Planned Parenthood

» The Left’s Pied Piper – Bill Maher – Says He Didn’t Know What Fast and Furious Was Until This Week

…. asked if he would be talking about Fast and Furious. Maher said, “no, I really don’t like Vin Diesel

And my favorite comment:

I will personally pay the travel expenses of the family member of one of “those” dead Mexicans so he can come to the USA and meet Bill Maher and pummel him into a coma.

» Clerk loses job over stand

Whiton said she does not object to using the programs for food assistance, but does not think a person should be able to use public funds to buy cigarettes.
“They can’t even buy toilet paper with the EBT grocery cards but they can buy beer and cigarettes with the EBT cash cards,” Whiton said, “Go figure.”

But yet, we Americans continue to tolerate the socialist systems that reward sloth and punish principled people like Jackie R. Whiton.

What you’re looking at is laser etching, and as shown in the second photo the detail is amazing.
These are examples of the work done by my friends at CADDGraphics – Laser Works & Graphics, right here in my little neck of the woods – Raleigh, N.C.

Guns and metal isn’t all that they can engrave or etch with lasers, they can put dang near anything on dang near anything. Go look for yourself.
