» Yes, Violence Can be the Answer

Hey, kid, don’t you know you should just cower and curl up into a ball? And, for sure, violence is never the answer…except with the Nazis, Mussolini, and Napoleon; during the American Revolution, the Barbary Wars, and the Battle of Tours; and when stopping the criminals during the North Hollywood Shootout, University of Texas Tower Shooting, and incidents every single day in which someone, somewhere uses physical force to thwart a crime. It’s never the answer—except, sometimes, when you actually have to deal with reality.

after failing to secure a safe environment for their students, these educators turn around and tell the kids that they also may not save themselves. They’ll say that “violence is never the answer” and then punish the victim the same as the victimizer. But would they want to be subject to the same standard? If they’re assaulted on the street, perhaps they should go to prison for as long as the assailant. I mean, it takes two to tango, right?

» Never Over ‘Over There’ When U.S. Goes To War

A quarter-century back, Gadhafi was blowing American airliners out of the sky and murdering British policewomen. That was the time to drop a bomb on him. But we didn’t. Everyone from the government of Scotland (releasing the “terminally ill” Lockerbie bomber, now miraculously restored to health) to Mariah Carey and Beyonce (with their million-dollar-a-gig Gadhafi party nights) did deals with the colonel.

» State Department, UN Spend Our Money on Nukes for Iran and Syria

It’s not enough to waste our money. Our liberal rulers feel compelled to waste it in the most destructive way possible. They may never top this — funneling our money through the odious United Nations to help terror states including Iran and Syria develop nuclear weapons with which to kill us

» Blunt Opinions on the 2012 GOP Presidential Field

In 2008 I learned my lesson: it’s never too early to start examining GOP presidential candidates and to offer my take on winners and losers. The last thing we need in 2012 is an incoherent (‘Heh, my friends…’), wish-washy “maverick” who is unmoored from the Constitution.

Ron Paul [1 point] – The once-obscure Texas Congressman has made headlines over the last few years with his attempts to audit the Federal Reserve (okay), his Leftist youth supporters (not okay), his isolationist foreign policies (really not okay), and his tacit acceptance of 9/11 Trutherism (absolutely unacceptable). Echoing Dennis Kucinich’s calls for Obama’s impeachment (over a supposed violation of the unconstitutional “War Powers Act” …) seals the deal.

Mike Huckabee … was unelectable in the general election, seeing as how his prior positions were largely indistinguishable from those of Barack Obama. His awful track record on illegal immigration, global warming, higher taxes, crime and parole are, to say the least, ominous. Constitutional conservative? Hardly.

Studying the phenomenon of a simulated president
» Is Obama Real?

» Liar-in-Chief Claims He Didn’t Know About U.S.-to-Mexico Gun-Smuggling Operation…

“The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation,” …
“In instances of self-defense, the president would be within his constitutional authority to act before advising Congress or seeking its consent,” Mr. Obama continued. “History has shown us time and again, however, that military action is most successful when it is authorized and supported by the Legislative branch. It is always preferable to have the informed consent of Congress prior to any military action. …”

~~ Sen. Barak Obama, December 20, 2007

» And it’s one, two, three, what are we fighting for?

Nonetheless, just before departing for his Brazilian “spring break,” Mr. Obama — now President Obama — last weekend ordered more than 100 cruise missiles (which incidentally cost hundreds of thousands of dollars apiece, and millions apiece to transport, maintain, and deploy) — launched into Libya, where at considerable further cost in lives and property they will inevitably embroil us in what is, in essence, an African civil war.

And he did so without consulting Congress.

» BULB Act Will Restore Incandescent Light Bulbs

The question is not whom to believe, the question I ask is why should a select few legislators in 2007 be able to tell hundreds of millions of Americans what light bulbs are best for them? Why do we have a federal government so intent on taking away people’s choices and limiting their options?

…. the amount of mercury in one bulb is enough to contaminate up to 6,000 gallons of water beyond safe drinking levels

» ‘America’s combined energy resources are… the largest on earth’

…. with its economy running on fumes and a staggering deficit, why is America the only country on Earth that restricts access to its own vast energy resources?
…. In 2012 we must elect leaders who understand the real world. The leaders we have today exist in some sort of a fantasy dream-scape. Because in the real world, there are no unicorns, no mermaids, no dancing ponies and no “green jobs”.

» Gaffetastic! Obama Energy Sec Chu admits solar and wind not economically feasible until… 2030!

All those subsidies that are being heaped upon wind and solar right now? Don’t worry, because it will all pan out in about, oh… 20 years. Two more decades. Ouch. Until then, I am presuming heavy subsidies. If the technology isn’t economically viable, meaning that a customer will lose money on the venture, then adding subsidies means you are displacing the loss to the customer with a loss to the taxpayer. And that’s good because… uh – why is that good?

Just FYI.
From today, The anti-president leaves office in exactly ….
666 days.
