» System failure on a global scale

What is occurring of late, however, goes beyond the usual casus belli to something far greater, a loss of faith in national and international banking systems, aggravated by the failure of nations to act in a prudent fashion to protect the wealth of their citizens and their national sovereignty.

The cause of this is socialism, the polite name for communism. It exists for world domination, the control of the population for the enrichment of those holding the reins of power. It is no accident that the U.S. Congress is filled with millionaires or those who soon will be.

On November 18th a proposed constitutional amendment that would require Congress to balance the budget failed in the House. The U.S. is currently $15 trillion in debt. The worst fears of our Founding Fathers are coming true. Presiding over the nation is a Marxist ideologue and his henchmen. When the Congress of the United States of America refuses to obey the limits of the Constitution, you have failure. When that same Congress refuses to reform “entitlement” programs and reduce massive spending, you have failure. When the Federal Reserve — a central bank that is not a part of the federal government — owns most of the nation’s debt, you have failure.

The Tea Party movement is calling for a restoration of America. We have precious little time to do that and it is the Democratic Party in league with unions who oppose that goal.

» Alice in Liberal Land

Perhaps the most remarkable feature of the world envisioned by today’s liberals is that it is a world where other people just passively accept whatever “change” liberals impose. In the world of Liberal Land, you can just take for granted all the benefits of the existing society, and then simply tack on your new, wonderful ideas that will make things better.
For example, if the economy is going along well and you happen to take a notion that there ought to be more home ownership, especially among the poor and minorities, then you simply have the government decree that lenders have to lend to more low-income people and minorities who want mortgages, ending finicky mortgage standards about down payments, income, and credit histories.

That sounds like a fine idea in the world of Liberal Land. Unfortunately, in the ugly world of reality, it turned out to be a financial disaster, from which the economy has still not yet recovered. Nor have the poor and minorities.

The SuperCommittee was a dumb idea in the first place. We shouldn’t let our representatives get away with this kind of abdication of their own responsibilities. It is perhaps inevitable in the current climate. I have never seen a time when the two parties are so completely at odds. It’s not just politics — they don’t share the same worldview, the same hopes for the country, the same understanding of economics, or the same understanding of history. They don’t share the same facts.

» Gun Issue Represents Tough Politics for Obama

Obama’s history in support of strict gun control measures …. makes it difficult for him to claim he’s a Second Amendment champion ….

That may be the understatement of the year.

The result is that while Republicans are more than happy to talk up their support for gun rights, Obama may barely be heard from on the issue at all.

… except via secret directives to his henchmen working ‘under the radar’.

…. supporters who hoped to see Obama adopt a stronger stance on guns and act in the wake of the Giffords shooting look like they’re going to be disappointed. “We haven’t given up hope,” said Dennis Henigan, acting president of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, “but our impatience is growing with each passing day.”

All considered, this article brings up nothing new and says nothing that was unsaid. It just provides an opening for reminders:

On March 30, 2011, the 30th anniversary of the assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan, Jim Brady, who sustained a debilitating head wound in the attack, and his wife, Sarah, came to Capitol Hill to push for a ban on the controversial “large magazines.” Brady, for whom the law requiring background checks on handgun purchasers is named, then met with White House press secretary Jay Carney. During the meeting, President Obama dropped in and, according to Sarah Brady, brought up the issue of gun control, “to fill us in that it was very much on his agenda,” she said.

Of course, ‘very much on (THHO)Obama’s agenda’ means not much at all, except it may be a passing thought in between golf strokes. But his next statement is very important:

“I just want you to know that we are working on it,” Brady recalled the president telling them. “We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar.”

We now know about some of those processes – because the Mexican drug-runners that received gun-gifts from Obama’s processes didn’t read the directions provided on radar avoidance.

In summary, (THHO)Obama is not gonna make gun control part of his political platform, he knows it’s not to his advantage to do that. Instead he, through and in cooperation with a corrupt DOJ and an even more corrupt ATF, has chosen to work the agenda covertly.

Subversion is best done under cover.

» “We no longer have creeping Sharia; it’s a damn stampede”

Despite the willful ignorance and denial of the truth from the media and our “leaders”, islamic supremacists are not shy about their ill intentions for us, look at what they have to say about the islamic conquest of the West in their own words:
“Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”
– Omar Ahmad, chairman and co-founder of CAIR – 1998

Dhimmicrats hear the same promises and threats from the islamists that we hear; they just don’t take them seriously.
If someone promises to kill me, I take them seriously – I believe them.

What’s the difference here? Perhaps someone with a degree or twelve in syko-logic can provide an explanation other than this:
I speak truth, therefore, I instinctively assume that others do as well.
Dhimmicrats speak lies, therefore, they instinctively assume others do as well.

» The Gingrich Amnesty

it’s hardly surprising that Newt would support amnesty for illegal aliens. After the Pelosi global-warming ad and Dede Scozzafava and “right-wing social engineering,” is it any surprise he’d adopt the left’s line on immigration too? He earned a career grade of D from Numbers USA (they calculate back to 1989). Heck, even Barbara Boxer has a career grade of D+.
Did something happen back in 1986 with regard to immigration? Oh, yeah, I remember — Congress passed the one and only amnesty for illegal immigrants, the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), that legalized close to 3 million illegals (there had been about 5 million, so about 2 million remained after the amnesty, because they didn’t meet the law’s requirements). That was supposed to be followed by tough enforcement to prevent future illegal immigration and to throw out the resident illegals who didn’t qualify for the amnesty

In other words, Newt is proposing we give amnesty to all illegals that have stormed the border since the last time we gave all illegals amnesty.

yeah, yeah … I know … shouldn’t be raggin’ the Newt over the little things … he might be the one. And yes, regardless of the problems I have with the RhiNewt, he’s better than another 4 long, miserable years of (THHO)Obama – a Gingrich administration would be far superior to what we tolerate now …. but ya know, I have a two year old oak tree stump in the back yard that would make a better president than (THHO)Obama .

This article link came to me via, where Mike wrote:

All you ever have to do with RINOs is just wait ‘em out–and the open-borders Democrat Socialists, and the illegals they wish to recruit into the same kind of purblind slavery on the Donk plantation they work so diligently to keep other minorities, know it quite well by now.
Bonus points for noticing that, just like every time the GOP concedes tax increases in return for future budget cuts, the enforcement portion of any and every amnesty Grand Bargain will never, ever happen.

» Ex-Dem Congressman: Voter Fraud Is Commonplace, Voter ID Is The Cure

“Most voter fraud doesn’t happen on Election Day,” Davis said. “Very few folks are going to walk into a polling place and claim they’re somebody they’re not. It happens with the absentee ballots and counties in my old congressional district. Sometimes 50 percent of the votes cast in Democratic primaries were absentee ballots.”
“There is no reason that half the vote in a community ought to be absentee ballots when the number is 0.01 percent in most communities in the United States,” he said. “How do you get 50 percent of the Democratic primary electorate being absentee in the natural course of things? You don’t get that. That comes about when there’s a strategy of cooking the books at the polls, voting people named Donald Duck and manufacturing ballots.”
