Now, how can I respect your service if you don’t?
» #Occupy Says: “We Are All Scott Olsen.” Agreed!

Scott Olsen is the ex-Marine and Iraq War veteran who was injured in the riot instigated by Occupy Oakland on Oct. 25. The Occupy Wall Street movement and its institutional patrons are using the incident to rally support, declaring: “We Are Scott Olsen!”

Scott Olsen apparently founded a website devoted to attacking the U.S. Marine Corps (via Verum Serum):
It has been widely reported that Olsen is a member of Iraq Veterans Against the War. But apparently his opposition to the U.S. military and the Marine Corps in which he served runs a little deeper.
The site is no longer live, but Olsen was the founder of, a private user forum apparently dedicated to bashing the Marine Corps…
Verum Serum’s post also points to evidence that Olsen may have been investigated by the Marines for alleged cocaine use. His Flickr account suggests an apparent enthusiasm for marijuana:

Various leftist websites would have you believe that US Marines are rallying to support their ‘brother’ who was bushwhacked by the ‘pigs’. While there are some, I don’t think they’re gonna be very supportive once they know who/what Olsen really is.

Furthermore, I don’t think the whole truth has been told about how ex-Marine Olsen got his empty skull cracked. How much you wanna bet that we eventually find out it wasn’t the cops?

» Radio ad refuses service to Obama supporters, Muslims

A radio ad for a concealed handgun class at Keller’s Riverside Store in Mason, located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, is causing controversy.

“We will attempt to teach you all the necessary information you need to obtain your C.H.L.,” the ad stated. Forty-five seconds in, the advertisement added a disclaimer.
“If you are a socialist liberal and or voted for the current campaigner in chief, please do not take this class. You have already proven that you cannot make a knowledgeable and prudent decision as under the law.”

I love this guy.

We Were Doing It Wrong
We, the Tea Parties, in simple ignorance, assumed that our right to peacefully assemble meant that we had the right to assemble and be peaceful …. and respectful. We thought that protest was best done in cooperation with law enforcement. We naively got permits, stayed within the permitted boundaries and then cleaned up after ourselves.
Now, thanks to the Occupying 99ers, do we know better? Have we been shown the proper way to protest?

» Tea Party vs Occupy: Are Cities Guilty of Double-Standard?

Tea Party groups across the nation are accusing local and state governments of a double standard – charging them fees to hold rallies in public parks, while allowing Occupy protesters to set up camp for free.

More specifically, Tea Parties came and left at the designated, permitted timeframes – and were villified and mocked – branded as terrorists and instigators. Occupiers come and, without permit, camp out, squat for weeks on end – and are hailed as saviors of democracy.

“If they are not going to apply the law equally, then they should refund our money,” she said. “They’ve been camped out there for almost two weeks and they have not paid one dime. They are not being held accountable to follow the law, yet we were expected to follow the law.”
Similar accusations have been made by other tea party organizations across the nation – including Atlanta, Winston-Salem, NC, and Nashville.

» Tea party group says city favors Occupy Richmond protesters

The Richmond Tea Party is lashing out at Richmond Mayor Dwight C. Jones for what it sees as the city’s preferential treatment of the Occupy Richmond protesters encamped at Kanawha Plaza.

The tea party group is sending Jones an invoice for the charges incurred for the Tax Day rallies it has held at the plaza the past three years, arguing that the Occupy Wall Street offshoot group squatting there has been using the park illegally and free of charge since Oct. 15.
Richmond Tea Party spokeswoman Colleen said her group has shelled out about $10,000 for the three rallies held there, including a rental fee for use of the park, various permits and other expenses. She added that the rallies were scheduled with the city months in advance and that the group held fundraisers to cover the required costs, which included police presence and portable toilets.

How stupid we were! We paid for toilets and police presence! We didn’t know we were supposed to crap in the streets and throw it at the police.
» Richmond Tea Party wants refund after seeing Occupy Richmond protesters camp out for free

By the standards set, the precedents set by the Occupiers and their host cities, the next time the Tea Party goes to D.C.
(1.7 million strong) there shouldn’t be anything left standing or breathing when we leave. Following the example of the 99% of parasitic whiners, if we are to do it right, we will have to rent bulldozers?

If not reimbursed, Owens said, the tea party would not follow the occupiers’ lead and rally there without scheduling the event.

No, we’re the tea party — we don’t break the law,” she said. “But we may choose a different venue.”

» Rep. Joe Walsh to Eric Holder: You better resign immediately, buddy

It was faint at first, but it grows ever louder, this cry for Attorney General Eric Holder to resign.

…. why an anti-gun Administration would knowingly force licensed firearms dealers to sell guns to violent criminals. I raise this because Operation Fast and Furious — if the facts of this case had not come to light — would have been used by this Administration as another false argument to attack law-abiding American gun owners.

Forcing Holder to resign would only allow Obama (THHO) to replace him with something even worse. The constitution and the republic are not safe as long Obama (THHO) is in the Frat House … I mean the White House.

» St. Louis dangerous for the unarmed and unprepared

Adding to this Post with the following.

» ‘Gun control’: Historically racist, and racist still

many gun laws on the books right now place a disproportionate burden on racial minorities. Specifically, every policy that drives up the cost of gun ownership and use imposes a wealth test on exercise of the Constitutionally guaranteed, fundamental human right of the individual to keep and bear arms. Given the socio-economic realities, such a wealth test is inherently racist in effect, if not by intent.

» ‘Gun control’ advocates suddenly embrace state sovereignty

Yesterday, H.R. 822, the “National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2011,” introduced by Representative Cliff Stearns (R-FL), passed a House Judiciary Committee vote, and thus now goes to the House floor. The bill’s prospects there look bright, given the fact that even if 27 of its 245 co-sponsors failed to vote for it, that would still leave it with bipartisan majority support.

This, as one might imagine, has put the anti-self-defense lobby in a state of hysterical outrage. The Brady Campaign, for example, has renamed it the “Packing Heat on Your Street Act” (named, perhaps, by the same not very gifted intern who renamed full capacity magazines “assault clips,” or the even more ludicrous “Big Bullet-Blasting Boxes”), and has been shrieking (and lying) about it for weeks.

Personally, I’m not all too thrilled with a National act addressing gun rights, pro or con. I understand the sense of victory in finally getting a pro-gun bill passed on the federal level, but I cringe at the prospect of the federal government having anything at all to do with our right to keep and bear. The Right-to-Carry Reciprocity between the States is a States issue. I’d rather keep it that way.
In the first dang place, the Right to Carry is just that – a Right – it is off-limits to the federal government as well as State governments. The fact that we have allowed our State governments to slowly encroach on that right by restricting various aspects of the right with concealed carry bans etc, is what should be addressed. Instead of fighting for the right to get permission from the government (to exercise our right to carry) concealed, we should be fighting for the abolishment of concealed carry laws outright. We should be telling all State governments and the Feds that we have a constitutional right to carry – open, concealed, strapped on our backs, mounted on our hats … whatever … instead of pitching hissy fits demanding we able to get permission from other states to do what we already have the right to do!

Your 1st amendment rights do not vary from one state to the next, why should the 2nd?
