» Letter implicates ATF in committing straw purchases for Gunwalker

“The existence of this letter,” Vanderboegh writes, “coupled with interviews of other sources across the country which put it into context, provides startling proof that the Federal government did not merely ‘lose track’ of weapons purchased by ‘straw buyers’ under surveillance by the ATF and destined for the Mexican drug cartels. In an undercover operation ordered by Fast and Furious supervisor David Voth, the U.S. government purchased firearms with taxpayer money from licensed firearms dealers, instructed them to conduct the sales ‘off the books,’ and used an ATF agent, John Dodson, to deliver them directly to people that Dodson believed were conducting them across the border.”

» Is the Machinists’ “Smoking Gun” Merely A Smoke Screen To Cover Its Own Actions?

it appears that the media (and the politicians) are not interested in seeing the forest through trees because the entire premise of the evil corporate conspiracy theory falls apart once you move past the smoke screen the the union and the NLRB have thrown up.

While there has been considerable backlash from the Right against Elizabeth Warren’s commie-spout, it hasn’t been near enough. The leftist grasshoppers are not lazy, they’ve been real busy for decades; attacking, surrounding, undermining and infiltrating the ‘ant hills’ that are the foundations of American success.

Enough metaphore.

Warren came within the thickness of a roach’s leg to declaring herself a communist and advocating communism as the desired replacement for the Constitution. Still, as an appointed representative of Thee Obama she can’t quite bring herself to actually use the word ‘communism’. She is (they are) at least smart enough to realize that if they were bluntly candid about their motivations, they would risk waking up the remaining 52% of brain-dead Americans; and they would be hung from the trees in the Capital lawn. Period.

» Serfs in Warrenville

Is there such a thing as private property? According to the Warrens, private property is a false construct. Property is generated, maintained and protected through the state. The individual is a sharecropper whom the state generously allows to retain the majority of his wealth and land. But when the individual begins getting uppity and asking why he has to give the state so much, then it’s time to remind him that everything he has really belongs to the state.

Elizabeth Warren is unsurprisingly a lawyer, even less surprisingly, a Harvard Law professor, still less surprisingly, she had a string of government appointments on influential committees. Her resume is representative of how unrepresentative Harvard lawyers with government connections are to the people on whose behalf they claim to have abolished private property.

“You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate,” Warren continues. Here she goes completely off the rails insisting that any government benefit to people who at one point are hired to work in a factory is an obligation on the factory owner. The workers themselves don’t seem to figure in this equation at all. The relationship is purely between the public school system and the capitalist who is now in hock because his workers can’t read or write, but know how to use condoms and denounce American imperialism.

you’re paying for government marauding bands who can come and seize everything in your factory. As the CEO of Gibson Guitars found out.

If Elizabeth Warren has a government appointed job, good for her. Great idea. But it was the factory owners and the people who paid to educate her. It’s the factory owners and the people who pay her salary. The roads she traveled, also funded by the same people.

The people don’t owe Warren and her vast government machine anything. She owes it to them.

Warren was right about one thing when she said that nobody got rich by themselves. When the guy she referred to built his factory and became successful, he didn’t do it alone. He took quite a few people with him. He didn’t invent and manufacture all the materials, machines and tools in his new factory. He didn’t pour the concrete and lay the bricks and wire up the lights all by himself. He didn’t cut the trees and clear the land and grade the road and parking lots – by himself.

No. He paid others to do all that. And many of those others got richer in the process.

The American capitalist never gets rich by himself, he always forces others to get rich with him, and without the government.

» Hold the Line Against Venture Eco-Socialism in the CR

On Friday, Harry Reid tabled the House-passed CR, and filed cloture on his own version, setting up a cloture vote for Monday night. Although Democrats only have 53 votes, several Republicans have already supported an even higher level of disaster spending without offsets. This is where Harry Reid’s math error will play a vital role. Under Senate rules, once a senator has forced a roll call, that senator proposing the amendment cannot change the text without unanimous consent. Harry Reid will need that consent in order to fix his mistake, in the hopes that he can get this done by Monday night and pressure House Republicans to cave, so they can all enjoy their scheduled recess. Senate Republicans must deny that consent.

» Former Clinton Appointee: Calling Tea Party ‘Racist’ Is Just a Cynical Political Ploy

Mary Frances Berry — a famous liberal activist and former Clinton appointee — accidentally blurted out the truth: There is no evidence that tea party adherents are any more racist than other Republicans, and indeed many other Americans. But getting them to spend their time purging their ranks and having candidates distance themselves should help Democrats win in November [2010].

Dhimmicrats are diluting the word racism because they think it’s the one way for them to retain power. It’s not.
But the new definitions of racism, as a result of their abuse, will make it much more difficult in the future to identify and mark true racism.

» Framing the Election Before the Progressives Do

Truth be told, there has been a softening among the moderate Conservatives and Republicans where Mrs. Clinton is concerned. Some feel sorry for her, and for myriad obvious personal and professional reasons. Others believe that she would have been a better choice for the nation as president than Barack Obama(THHO). Regardless of their reasons, the fact remains that there is a contingent on the Right side of the aisle who have forgotten that Mrs. Clinton is, herself, a Progressive, and by her own admission.

And the only difference between a socialist and a progressive is the spelling.

While prodding the GOP powerbrokers into engaging 21st Century political mediums and axioms is just one hurdle that needs to be transgressed, Conservatives and Republicans must – must – educate the Independent and undecided voters, along with those in the Conservative and Republican circles, about one of the greatest threats to the continuation of the Great American Experiment: Progressivism.
The Progressive Movement – and Hillary Clinton’s “Modern Progressive” Movement is one in the same – is, perhaps, the most damaging political movement that our nation has confronted. It is based in an ideology foreign to individual responsibility, liberty and sovereignty. It is a movement that believes in the power of the oligarchy and collectivism; that believes government has the right to intervene in every aspect of your life.

Sounds like socialism, don’t it?

▪ Can the establishment GOP deflate their egos enough to place the nation above their control of the Republican Party, if only for the upcoming election?
▪ Can the establishment GOP move away from the “it’s-my-turn” candidate selection addiction?
▪ Can Conservatives unite; refraining from running a third-party candidate that would split the vote (ala Ross Perot)[ala Ron Paul. ~~ Bubba], thus facilitating Mr. Obama’s(THHO) re-election? [or the election of another Clinton, but with balls. But still just an Obama(THHO) clone wrapped in a pasty-white, wrinkled package. ~~Bubba]
▪ Do we on the Right have enough dedication and courage to commit to exposing Progressivism and Progressive candidates for whom and what they are?
▪ Can Conservatives and Republicans effectively deliver their message before Progressives frame the election debate?
The answers to these questions, regrettably, are as of yet undetermined. But, I will say this; we better formulate these answers immediately if we want to beat the Progressives to defining the debate, the message and the candidates. If they succeed in beating us to the punch, we lose.

» Americans convicted in Iran say they were hostages
I’ve never had anything to say about these guys, that I can remember. The whole incident just didn’t smell right. A group of American yutes going to Iraq/Iran for what? Spring break? Touring all the old great historic places? The thrill of the great outdoors hiking and camping?
What is there along the Iraq/Iran border that’s so attractive and worth risking your life or at least imprisonment? I mean to normal people, of course.
And these are not normal people.

“Sarah, Josh and I have experienced a taste of the Iranian regime’s brutality. We have been held in almost total isolation from the world and everything we love, stripped of our rights and freedom,”
They also expressed gratitude to actor Sean Penn, boxer Muhammad Ali, philosopher Noam Chomsky, singer Yusuf Islam, U.S. anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan and Nobel laureates Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Mairead Maguire.

Oh, that hurt didn’t it? Your jaw dropped onto the keyboard so hard it hurt. But now you have a slightly better understanding of why these moonbats were in Iran to start with. We still don’t know what the boneheads had in mind, but we know it wasn’t hiking.
